Hmm…don’t remember

I didn’t get that pheo was an answer for a color question

the first color one had copper in it, so that’s blue
the 2nd one had potassium in it (K), which is purple

Oh! misunderstood your question haha

i think it was just along the lines of “blah blah blah changes to pink”

ah crap i got some of those flame test questions wrong

If it makes you feel any better waterbottle12, they weren’t flame test questions. The copper and potassium ones were solutions, and phenolphthalein is an indicator : )

^ Yeah I did (like in the last column).

All I remember is that I flagged like 4 T/F ones but never got to check them over, and left one blank. :S

I hope -4/5 = 800, as hopefully I did not make any other mistakes.

lol ah my bad typo; my brain is so dead today sorry

i meant solution problems lol -> i didnt manage to remember the potassium solution color and the question under the phenolphthalein (-2 right there)

@nextesla; i only remember 3 TT CE’s. I’d have to hear the actual questions to remember the rest

Don’t remember the TF’s that well, but towards the end of the mult choice I got a lot of B’s in a row

i have a really bad feeling about this test lol; already at -6

so jw what other ppl put for the question: you have a solution of Basomething and you add .1 mole Ba in an excess of .2M Basomething

the answer choices were like

.05 .1
.1 .1
.1 .2
.2 .1

something like that. if anyone remembers, what’d you put?

.1 .1
tsen

what is the other indicator question (not phenolphtalein)?

i don’t remember there being another…

@math_h1: Are you talking about when it asked if all indicators were colorless? (I think that was a T/F type of question.)

^i agree 10char

what you guys put for the volume composition of h20 (i’m not sure if it was the volume composition) ,the answers were ratio (h2 to 02)
i thingk i put 2 :1 ?

can somebody say the question for heat of formation true or false question and the true or false question for boiling thing???

what is -5 for chem? is that 800 or no?

Please can anyone tell me the best books for SAT Subject test Chemistry? Is Barron’s a nice one to have?

^Yeah I like Barron’s.

@fridgemagnet: If you have 0.05 moles of oxygen then that’s 0.05 * 32 = 1.6 grams.

I agree about the MgO – it’s T/F

The heat of formation was FF if i remember correctly (note what other ppl said earlier in the thread)

TF for boiling (adding a solute will make the boiling point higher BECAUSE the vapor pressure is decreased (not increased, as the question said))
