oh darn it.

Which other ones did you guys think were confusing?

did u guys get 9 moles of O2 for the balancing equation question?

the TTCE section of the test was okay
I didnt put down many TTCEs

the question with carbon and 3 oxygen atoms with one double bond, was the answer choice E, the structure does not account for the -2 ?

I think one of the TTCE questions was something along the lines of:

“You should not add water to acid (True) because the heat generated will cause it to splatter (?).”

It could splatter if you add water last, but it that because of the heat generated or just because you’re pouring it?

Yes i think i did get 9 mol of O2
but do you remember what specific problem?

Also one them asked which reaction increases in entropy? And I choose an option that was release of gas from reaction with Zinc and HCl

for that i put TTCE, i didn’t really think of the heat though…

i left that one blank
That TTCE one with acid water pouring and spltter
and yeah, sat2easy i think thats right

yeah, I put Zn + HCl for the increase in entropy (but why wouldn’t it be the boiling of an alcohol?)

I think the one with the carbon & oxygen and a -2 charge was because it didn’t show all the resonance structures

boiling if a physical change not chemical

so is the boiling of water, but H2O (l) –> H2O (g) increases entropy

oh that question about what is supported by the kinetic molecular theory…

I put that the molecules hit each other and the walls of the container, but it was more or less a guess. anyone?

^^the question said its a chemical change
^thats what i put

Yes, water liquid to water gas is increse in entorpy
There was a TTCE part of the test that asked
Ideal Gas behavior at high temperatures and Low Pressures (T) BECAUSE the volume or container and attraction of gases no long factor something or other (T) - TTCE?

^yes!
how many ttce’s did you get

yeah, the ideal gas question was TTCE

I dont remember exactly how many but i justknow that i did not put down a lot
What other TTCE Questions do you remember?

9 moles for Oxygen??? for the balanced equation?

yep I think I put 9 moles of oxygen for the equation.

do we have a conclusion on the question with 3O’s, 1C, a double bond, and -2 charge?
