was the number of mondays one experimental?

aleeya- im not sure

How did you solve for the surface area of the cylinder? It said to only find the surface area of the outside of the paper

^ no it was not exp.

No pete, it was 9, I had the right thought process too but put 8.

The one with the median 86 of 101 integers lowest number = 36 right?

Anyone get 500 as answer choice for #7 (math section with grid-ins)? It was asking for the surface area of a right cylinder without a top or bottom. I found the circumference which was 8pi and multiplied that by the height, 20, giving me about 500 for the SA. Anyone confirm?

Yea I got 36. What was the answer to the pollution question? Was it 0.9% or .38%

i also got that mingfs, weird q tho

I put 60 instead of 3600 for the fill-ins

GAHHH

Brolex- yes to the median
MingFs- yes

The lateral S.A. is 2(PI)RH. so it was about 500

VT-

SA = area of top + area of bot + area of side = pir^2 + pir^2 + 2pirh

asked only for side

@bluestring I feel you, I did that too D:

@greenonions17 - :(

i got 450 for the cylinder but i prolly did it wrong

.9 for the c(x) im positive. plug in 80 for c and solve for x

yup, so the cylinder on is just 20circumfrence of a circle with radius 4. So, 208pi, or 502. Answer was 500.

Anyone know the letter answer for the pollution one?

Can anyone confirm whether 96pi + 64 was choice D or E

@aleeya, e

@brolex, i got .9

^ didn’t the question say that the radius was 8?

Brolex, the answer was A.
Aleeya, the answer was E.

WAIT so is the cylinder’s lateral Surface Area 450 or 500?
