@ yyym, the skateboarding@olympics wasn’t the experimental one - i only had that one & the 10 minute section at the end!

^was that section 5?

does anyone remember the question that began “wanting to develop her fluency in the language she committed studying …”??? it was the first question in identifying error park

Does anyone remember the question/answer on the Skateboarding Essay in the writing that asked something like:
what sentence would best introduce the topic for paragraph 2 that is still connected to paragraph 1 or whatever.

I think the answer was the one that said the statements in the previous paragraph were wrong because the paragraph it introduced countered the previous paragraph.

I understand how you guys think that the fostering process is still going on by now… But those are the grammar rules… In the context, apparently, I was talking about the past. Althought you can argue that it is still going on after it “began” to reach, the sentence is basically not concerned about whether it is still keep going… It only cares about the moment when “it began” . Referencing to that moment, it is before that, so, you need to use perfect tense, and since it’s in the past, you need past perfect. It’s like… In present you say, “I know I will do well” , but in the past you’ll say “I knew I would do well”… And you can’t say “I knew I will do well.” the the tenses are just not consistent… Although it makes sense verbally, it is grammatically wrong… It’s just like those he and I thing

guys the answer is d (that) there is no point arguing over it.

I read in my Barron’s 2400 that there are 15% - 20% E’s, meaning that there should be like 3/4? I think I got 4.

Wait what was the lay/laid question???

I don’t remember it…

What about the dolls?

how do you guys remember this stuff???

FOr anyone wondering about the question with collarborate, yes collaborate was wrong it should have been corroborate 100% sure

The one about the dolls, did you say the incorrect portion was “wouldn’t be” ?

I picked that too, but I think its was like “Neither of the dolls were in their box…” and “were” is supposed to be “was”

neither of the dolls (so it should be was)

Where is the silverturtle alarm?

what is -2 with a 10 essay? 11 essay? 12 essay?

I accidentally put the wrong author for my essay. I wrote that Antigone was written by Socrates, not Sophocles. Will that hurt my grade or does that file under “incorrect facts that cannot be judged?”

-2 will most likely be an 800 with an 11 or 12, and a 780-790 with a 10

^ Stuff like that won’t have a major impact on your grade. The important thing is to have strong examples, a strong thesis, and a well written essay that backs up your thesis. If you do that, they won’t even notice that minor error
