@Savvy123 Really the key I think is studying over a long period of time. For the essay, I made a template and started thinking about examples (so that I’d have one historical, one literary and one current events for each essay) and for Writing multiple choice I just consistently reviewed the Writing sections of a couple different prep books. Before taking the October test I was consistently getting 800s on practice tests by missing no more than 2-3 multiple choice questions and consistently writing 11/12 essays.

For Math I just did lots and lots of timed sections over a period of a couple months whenever I had free time. Usually I score above 710 actually, so I was a bit disappointed that Math was my lowest score on this test.

For Critical Reading I did virtually nothing to prepare. Outside of the actual test I did not take a single timed section nor did I memorize a single vocab word…I’ve always been a bit of a voracious reader, and I guess it paid off!

Also I made sure to get a good night sleep the night before and have a good breakfast, these things are more important than people give them credit for.

@SirHolmes How did you manage to get 800 for writing with a 9 essay? I got 9 for my essay and 80 for the multiple choice part, but I only got 790.

By the way, I got 2210 - CR 740, M 680, W 790. I’m kinda disappointed about maths, because I really need a higher score and I don’t know if I have time to retake it as I will be applying to unis shortly :(

Wait how does superscoring work? I thought it was only total score; like if I scored 2350 this time and 2360 next time (except with 800 math and less in other areas) then it would take the 2360 test only?

I’m definitely retaking.
I knew I messed up,and I thought I did worse than on previous taking: 1890.
But luckily I got 2000.Not that bad,but could do better!!
CR:630
M:650
Wr:720

I could have done wayyyyy better for the Maths.
I didn’t have a clue for 2 questions, and kept panicking for the rest of the test.I didn’t revise anything at all.So 2000 is pretty good for me.
