***October 2013 SAT Scores***

Does anyone know if admission counselors see all of your SAT scores that are sent, or at (large) schools do they just see your superscore? The reason I ask is that while I improved one section a great deal this go around, two of my other sections decreased. A 730 in math is not a bad score, but I don’t want colleges like MIT and Caltech to see it and not think I can handle their school.

woo, superscore of 2330 (760 CR (from this SAT) 770 M 800 W 12 essay)

And to think I had a measley 1980 back in January (with only 590 in CR and 620 in W!!)… improvement is possible!!!

Split my expectation and hope right down the middle with a 1950. Got a 1770 on my only other test last January, pretty strong improvement if you ask me.

Cr: 630
M: 640
W: 680

^^ wish I got 650’s across the board, but 180 point improvers can’t be choosers.

2360 :frowning: I got 800 Math, 800 CR, and 760 Writing. Kinda bummed over the lower writing score, but I don’t think I’ll retake.
Congrats to everyone!

Comp: 2100
CR: 680
W: 68 MC, 8 Essay 670
M: 750

So funny~You could really get a perfect score for the writing part…haha

What do you mean?

He’s saying writing 800 is easy…

But you could be like me and the writing section is the hard part… (I never even tasted 800 writing).

2220
710 C
750 M
760 W
76 MC
9 E
congrats everyone :)

I think I probably made silly errors, because on practice tests, CR was the problem; i generally got 800 on Writing.
Should I retake?

I got 2400, was expecting it, was a easy test not going to lie, been preparing for 5 years now
M:800
CR:800
W:800 Essay:12

Now back to those college apps…

Mc: 79
e: 8
760

2150 - 750CR, 750M, 650W

So now my superscore is 2240, which I’m satisfied with, especially because I did no prep whatsoever. My critical reading score went up 70 points and my writing score went down 80 points. I think this should say something about the subjectivity of the SAT.

The “curve” has nothing to do with where one takes the test.

Interesting that in a test where most of the scores are 1400<x<1600 and less than 1 in 50 scores above 2200, how nearly 95% of the people on CC are in that top region. All of the top scorers gravitate here! And virtually only top scorers…riiiiiight!

I’m not sure whether you’re being facetious (though I suspect that you are).

However, whether you really mean this is irrelevant. Most people here are gifted students. I have no doubt that most if not all of these kids are telling the truth. Thousands and thousands (millions?) of kids take the SAT each year; this isn’t a representative sample.

“Average” scores are much lower than these obviously.

Any visitors here who aren’t scoring over 1800 are probably (and understandably) bashful about posting their scores.

I got a 680 in reading and omitted 2. Can anyone tell me how many I missed?

CR710, M800,W770 That’s it for me SAT.

I got a 9 on my essay :frowning:

M: 800
CR: 640
W: 650

I guess I’ll have to retake it.

Hey guys I have a question: If I choose to send my Nov. scores to 4 colleges, will they receive all my old scores (Oct. and Jun.) too?
Oh, and btw:
M:800
CR:670
WR:570 (My clock ran 5 mins later than the agency clock. ****)
