I thought the English and reading were somewhat standard. I took the june test and was a little thrown by the double passage then so this time I wasn’t surprised. I actually feel very good about the science but that’s probably because I studied so hard for it after a bad science last time. I thought math was hard but I thought that for june and came out with a 34. hoping to get a 33

Can anyone who has taken the September ACT please give a comparison in terms of difficulty?

@Mango920452 I thought that English was about the same level. Math was harder in September for me (but I got a 35). Reading was definitely harder in September. Science was ridiculously more difficult in October.

English was the same. Math harder in September (although, unlike last time I did not finish, had 4 questions left :-S). Reading easier. Science harder. So all in all I felt the same as @WorkSAT2014 .

English and Reading was definitely easier than September’s test, Math was slightly easier, and Science I would say was the same or just little harder.

Will someone please predict my scores?

Max wrong…

English: -4,5
Math: -5,6
Reading: -7,8
Science: -8,9

Also, does anyone think that they will give a generous science curve since it was so hard this time?

Am I the only one who thought English was a bit trickier this time. I took the act two times including the September one and got 36s on English both times. I feel nowhere near as confident about this particular English test.

Me too debate. I made a 31 E last time and I doubt I did as well this time

Thank you everyone for your replies. The general consensus seems to be:

English:about the same, maybe a little harder/easier
Math: slightly easier
Reading: definitely easier
Science: more difficult.

It seems to me that the curve will be about the same as September as science and reading will balance each other out, but idk.

Lol there were a couple questions on this english i found to be tricky… including one which i believe i ended up getting right that i thought was ridiculous (lucky guess)…

here is the curve for the JUNE 2014 act english, math and reading sections which i think were similar to this test

English:
36: 75
35: 72-74
34: 71
33: 70
32: 68-69
31: 67
30: 66
29: 65
28: 63-64

Math:
36: 59-60
35: 58
34: 56-57
33: 55
32: 53-54
31: 52
30: 51
29: 49-50
28: 47-48

Reading:
36: 40
35: 39
34: 38
33: 37
32: 35-36
31: 34
30: 33
29: 32
28: 31

and science on the june test was waaayyy easier than this test so here’s the curve from the APRIL 2014 test

Science:
36: 39-40
35: 38
34: 37
33: 36
32: 35
31: –
30: 34
29: 33
28: 32

Praying for -1 science being 36

That curve seems pretty realistic. I like it

based on the curve about i would likely get
E: 34-35
M: 34-35
R: 30-31
S: 33-34
C: 33-34

i really hope this is true

This curve is realistic

@Ghfdw17 I had form 70B. I had given the September ACT and got a 31. In my opinion, this one was harder than the September one. I really hope the curve is generous. I messed up my timing on the Science section.

@YOLOOLOY Do you know what the september curve was so I can get an idea of what to expect?

@austin23 That is not true at all!! I got a 32 on June math and only missed 3 questions. Also on science I missed 5 and got a 30…

I thought this test was quite hard except math (my strength) … I honestly don’t think i missed a single math problem on this ACT.
