Shoe one was 19/2 + 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/12

10 1/3 for shoe

a/b = .288, 0<b<500 -----what is a? Doesn’t this answer have a huge range of error

For the implicit and explicit one I said that they were both still widely known because passage 1 was basically saying that it persevered through ages and the second one was inquiring why were people still so into it even htough it was meant for entertainment

And which passage is the emphatic vs anylticl

did you guys get II and III for one of the math?

atlantis @pokemon1 and yes @annoyingorange

was that the answer choice about how it’s still popular in modern times?

@ScienceGeekGirl yep

She still thinks details are important, she is jaded by the profession in which she succumbs to her lack of confidence

The only reading section i had trouble with was the zen/japanese teacher one. But there was one about a girl looking under a microscope and it asked what the teacher wanted them to see in the cygro-somethings. I was stuck between movement and the way they were or sth

Wouldnt it be dismissive bc he called their words “drivel”? He didnt like that they were just talking from personal experience, unsubstantiated with facts

I put dismissive.

Craps guys did it say that in a/b is .288 that a had to be an integer? :frowning:

@HarvardReach what I did is put 0.288 in my calculator and then did MathFrac and it gave me a fraction with integer values for a and b. I think a/b = 36/125 making a 36.

@amdcous yeah it did

@amdcous It had to be an integer. That question almost got me.

Like if you put “weary of her profession”

288/1000 = 144/500= 72/250

yeah i made the same mistake

And explain to me also, what this link that everyone is asking for is?
Also, the answer was analytical for the difference in passage 2 when compared to 1 for Atlantis.
Also, “as diverse as” is a valid phrase.
Unfortunately, “sufficiently enough” is an error. I thought it was simply modifying “enough,” but it creates redundancy.
For the Japanese teacher and Zen passage, did anyone get “relative unimportance of detail”? That’s what i chose. Also, I believe the answer for the writing question is NO ERROR for the “choose between ---- AND -----” It should be OR (i think) because when you say “I’m deciding; should i go eat out with friends OR should i go study” you use OR. WAIT I JUST REALIZED…CRAP IS IT “AND”???
