Sinuous? What was the answer

@satwreckerZ2 But even then it doesn’t talk about how her stepmother was introduced to that philosophy.

@basedchem yup lol, and also a bunch of D’s for one math section I think.

@MALABARCOAST2014 I put no error but many are saying sinuous.

College Board Does not do implications. Correct Answers are always straightforward @satwreckerZ2

@satwreckerZ2 But the passage never explained how zen originated; it talked about how it’s used and how teacher styles derived from it are different compared to American teachers.
Even if she practiced zen, it would still make more sense that it was that philosophy that rationalized her actions.

For the writing section food anyone put a ne for like the second go last question for improving sentences like the first part

It was like blah blah, even serving as an army base or something

@satwreckerZ2 I think they would have had to explicitly instead of implicitly say that the mom practiced the Zen ideology for that answer to be right. Also, at the end it had the part where it said the mothers frustration was every teacher’s frustration because they don’t know how to teach what they actually believe in.

@BornPrep Which answer did you choose for that question?

For the sinuous one, redundant?

Did anyone have the math section with the functions and the family income/savings/consumption and had 3-4 questions that followed? Found that confusing. Maybe experimental? Lmk

thank god @azwu331 thanks for relieving my fears!!! I felt really strong on all other sections besides that so pheeewf

@fishybopbop No worries. The experimental section is often different from every other section in some way. The math sections are often the easiest to find out.

You did have 4 math sections, right?

Can’t recall anything like that . Experimental I guess@bdotstark

@ambitionsquared I put rationale

Mabe you guys are right. But i remember that the reason i didnt choose “rationalizing her mother’s actions” is because I didn’t think the daughter wanted to justify the mother’s practices, because she disliked them. And again, the tracing the origins of a philosophy did not refer to historical tracing, just merely explaining what Zen practices were.

Im going to retake in Dec because i have subject tests in Nov.
I have a question for you guys.
Should i sacrifice subject tests for 2 more SATs or take one opportunity for subject tests and have one last shot at the SAT? (i’ve taken it twice now)

I had 4 math sections.

@bdotstark Any math section with a table/chart/graph followed with 3 or 4 questions that relate to the table/chart/graph and each other is probably experimental.

I don’t think the error was sinuous. Sinuous was used as an adjective, and even though it can be argued that it was redundant, I don’t think that’s the answer. I think I picked B for that one…
