***October 2015 SAT (US Only) Thread***

Your test score will be delayed. 5-8 weeks they have to go back and check your sheet @questionasker123

@JuicyMango What about the answer that the teacher doesn’t particularly care about details? I said something about the teacher being determined to teach her students but I felt pretty shaky about that one.

Can anyone please explain its not emphatic? Also why would the origin of zen have anything to do with the passage? Wasn’t her purpose to show why her mother acted that way? Therefore, it should be rationale behind the decision

you are wrong ambition

Deco art design is characterized by x and y styles, WHICH CONTRAST/S with the curvy and b style of this other design.
Does anyone remember this one? Was it no error? I still don’t understand this one. Is it contrast or contrasts? Is it contrast because of the plural styles before the comma?

Ambitions wrong

Anyone here took Sat subjects math 2? Do I have to finish AP CAL before taking that test?

Thank you for your answer! Have you ever had the same experience?

you are wrong aswell gary

The guy quoted in Passage one asking if the Internet has changed our minds: was it asked out of genuine (concern?) or out of perplexity? Does anyone remember the proper wording and correct answer (or even why)?

My ex did. Not me @questionasker123

I remember putting “The teacher shows determination to challenge her students.” What was that question again?

^ I’ve been arguing that its genuine confusion but apparently the consensus here is that it was an ominous explanation

the thread is arguing between “ominous explanation and genuine confusion”. You can go back to previous pages and check it out @DRON3D

Details were unimportant end of story

@truculent @Garybarry Could either of you please explain your reasoning? I don’t have high hopes for this question considering just about everyone else is debating between “doesn’t care about details” and “tired of job”.

Look at the passage again, it says that the kids had minor details that were unimportant

What was the question for the answer “Details were unimportant”?

what was the question @ambitionsquared

That question was for why the narrorator still nagged her kids on details even tho they were minor
