@Hermit9: And in fact, I secretly don’t care what my parents think because at the end of the day, I am my own person and I will be going out in this world without their help or guidance. I have consistently been scoring 2350+ on practice tests for the past month, so it was a disappointment for me to score lower. Again, I think anything 2000+ is great, I just think I haven’t reached my personal potential, which is what I always strive for.
Now i can sleep tonight
prediction please?
Math: 0 wrong 0 omit

@JuicyMango you probably did better than you thought! Cheer up!
i put ornate becuase the word after was superficial. and so, ornate means decorated? correct?
@JuicyMango Just remember that even at top colleges there is not a big difference between a 2300 and a 2400. In that score range what will really sets you apart are your extracurricular activities, awards and essays.
@JuicyMango Anything above 2300 won’t hold you back from any college in the world, and it sounds like you broke that by 40 points or so. You should focus more on boosting those academic ECs you were talking about earlier than 10 points on your SAT. Just food for thought.
I think it will be fun to check this thread once scores come out and see what the correct answers actually were.
Do we actually get to find out which answers were correct? I thought we just found out our scores.
^YES
Some people are so certain about an answer I’m just like yup let’s see what end up being right, it’ll be fun? Haha
@Hermit9 and Bassonitup: You guys are both correct. I’ll just take the November test, and if I do better then that’s great; if not, its fine since I already have a good score. Btw I’m studying for the F=ma exam so if you guys have any tips, that would be great :P.
@JuicyMango That’s a great asset for your resume. Sadly my skill for mechanics does not transfer to electromagnetism, so I don’t really have anything valuable to add other than best wishes.
Did anyone get a bunch of B’s towards the end of the error identification writing section?
So are the people with cages in their avatar temporarily banned or something?
I know a lot of people are posting prediction requests, so sorry but I’m just dying to have an idea of how I did!
Math: -1, omit 7 (yikes)
CR: -4, omit 0
Writing: -1, omit 0 / 11 essay
edit: perhaps I was being a bit quixotic, let’s say -3 for writing
Thank you!
@JuicyMango lol I am hoping that colleges will appreciate my writing and programming awards and look past the sat score I just got. If that fails i still have my fingers crossed for a bassoon scholarship.
@asdfasdf12345 Yes, I seem to remember getting 3 consecutive Bs toward the end of that section.
Can someone answer bboymartin or whatever i too think i was at

Hello, I took the SAT (the full 4 hour exam) today, but I’m a bit worried because I made a mistake at the beginning of the test when I was bubbling in the test booklet iD # into my answer sheet. I remember that I needed to enter the bar code number of the test, the test booklet ID #, and such into my answer sheet, but I think I may have bubbled exactly one digit of one of the test booklet ID numbers wrong. Would this affect my scores somehow? If so, would the CollegeBoard be able to fix it?
@kentonpalmer CR 700-730, M 800, W 650-750 for a total 2150-2280.
