***October 2015 SAT (US Only) Thread***

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I think i got 1 math wrong. It was 12.5 not 2.5 wasnt it ?!?!!?!??!??!?? Im acc retaking in november now i really wanted an 800 in math never been more angry. Btw what did u guys put for the one that was like 3 consecuative numbers add to 32 options
3 odd
3 even
2 odd 1 even

I usually always get 770-800 on math practice tests but i was confused by this question and it was number 3

Ya that was an idiom error on 28 btw

A & b had to be intergers i think 72/250 was valid

@kentopalmer 3 evens, 2 odds and 1 even
**I dont think it said consecutive numbers.

almost certain it said consecutive like 96% sure. If it didnt then thats sad on my part. Given that is was q 3 you could be right

Yes! I was stuck between guessing 13 and 12.5, but then I realised the data was continuous :o

Im 99% sure it said consecutive integers

Score Check?

M: -0
CR: -6
W: -3 10 essay

Thank you!! ^^^ in that case it mustve been 2 odds and an even because the close runs of the others were
8/10/12= 30
10/12/14= 36
3 odds can never be positive so

Cant believe i got that math wrong wow

It didn’t say consecutive. The answer is the last two.

Good luck everybody. I hope we’re all pleasantly surprised when the scores surface on October 22nd.

For all you guys who say that sinuous curve is redundant and wrong
A sinuous curve is bending, winding, or curving in and out; wavy, serpentine; not straightforward; devious; crooked.
Therefore, the correct answer for the writing question is no error
Btw, hopefully i got:
Math: 0 wrong (800)
Reading >=2 wrong (maybe 780)
Writing: think 0 wrong +10 essay (maybe 800)
Just cross my fingers and if the stars fall into place just maybe

Oh and I believe the last question in one of the math sections:

If n is the product of an even number and 6, the result will be divisible by 8… Which number disproves this

I said 36 because 6 * 6 = 36 which is not divisible by 8.

The idiom was about the TinTin dog was D, and for the last one in that writing section, I got D as well (or was wrong)?

Can people post whether they thought it said consecutive or not on question 3? Im bearly certain it did

Perhaps the curve will be amazing and 1 wrong will be 800 and i wont have to retake

36 was right @Teleport

What were the choices for the sinuous sentence? I don’t know which one I put down.

I had 4 CR Sections. Did anyone have 1 CR section that was insanely difficult? It was some history passage about the Union and the division of the states and Europe or France or something like that. I really hope that was the experimental. It was really difficult.

Does anyone remember the answer to the writing question with “jet lag” in it?

It went something like, “Studies suggest people may experience more jet lag than (is normal because…) or (it is normal by…)”
