***October 2015 SAT (US Only) Thread***

@questionasker123 when my sister took the sat 2-3 years ago she copied either her serial number or her formcode down wrong (i don’t remember which) and her score was delayed at least a couple weeks. When you check your scores on the 22nd there should be a message saying something to the extent of “there has been an error processing your score, check back [date].”

@qoehd8 answer was 15

Anyone else remember having a math question dealing with a confidence interval/level. It was something about a company claming a conf. level. but I was wondering if this was an experimental section? Can someone please acknowledge if they did or did not have this question ? It would put my mind at ease as I did not have time to answer 4 questions in this section. Praying it was. Thanks.

Just “normal”

@kentonpalmer I got 30 because the six intersecting lines would create 6 angles that add up to 360 degrees. So 3 of the angles would add up to 180 degrees meaning that 30 + 2(30) + 3(30) = 180 degrees.

Why is it 15? I got 30…

Thought I had a shot at 800 math. Guess not…

@kentonpalmer wasn’t the answer 30? Since it had to be 360 degrees all the way around?

it was 30

it was 15 cause x 2x 3x each had an equal angle on the opposite side of the line. But now i dont remember the question so 30 couldve been right… Either 15 or 30

I think I might have only gotten -1 on this test for Math which is really good considering I usually get -3 or -4.

180/6 =30

@kentonpalmer It should be 30 because one side of a line is 180 degrees. Then you add in the other side which becomes 360.

I thought it said something like 3 points converge on one side of the line, if so each angle has its respective on the other side

Oh no! Good thing i have one more shot at this !

I drew 6 congruent angles (which appeared to be a hexagon) and since only 3 of the 6 angles are given, those three angles must sum to 180 degrees. Solving for X will give 30 degrees

If x was 15, the three angles would be 15, 30, and 45. They would then add up to 90.

360 - 90 = 270.

270/(remaining 3 angles) = 90…?

What was the one at the short writing section towards the end with the Japanese art form and the choices were A)Beginning… B)Beginning… C)Began…,it disputed… don’t really remember the question though but that was the general gist of it (I picked C, but the comma and then it disputed sounded weird, but all the other answers began weirdly)

Whats my score if I got:
CR 4-5 wrong
M 0 wrong
W 2 wrong with a 8-9 essay

Was that angle question the one that said 3 lines crossover ?
