***October 2015 SAT (US Only) Thread***

@tommy222 Dang it lol… I thought it was emphatic because the last line he said was really forceful and made it apply to everyone.

@awesomesaucee i had the same experimental as you haha

for the cr section with like the volcanoes and counterparts
did anyone get a lot of D’s in a row?

The angle question asked for angle ABC (or something like that), which was equal to 2x (80 degrees)

anyone get 3 no errors in a row in sentence errors???

@tommy222 nope

LOL my experimental was horrible… It was just an extra writing section, exact same format…

how many no errors did you all get in a section @awesomesaucee

Can someone estimate my score:

CR:4 omit, 1 wrong
Math: 3 omit
Writing (w/ 10 essay): 2 wrong

I’m still completely sure that the answer is in fact changing “contrast” to “contrasts” because it was an extended comparison of the two art forms. The comma made all the difference.

@Koop12345677 around 2240
I used college pandas SAT score calculator and just took the best percentage

@JuicyMango Isn’t the subject still brush strokes? Cause the sentence says Art Deco uses bold strokes which contrast with the sinuous, curved strokes in Art Nouveau.

@tommy22 i think 4

@grparker21 No, the subject was “design.”

@grparker21 @JuicyMango I am almost certain that the answer was “no error”. I remember that the strokes were being compared, not the actual types of art. At least, for my own selfish reasons, I hope it was no error.

what will-1 on math be

The sentence said “…, which contrast with the sinuous, curved lines” so the lines are being compared. “Contrast” is correct.

If I filled up both pages by didn’t write a conclusion can I still break 10? Refer to page 92 to see my examples… Please help me what do you think I got?

Just wondering, what was the answer to the jet lag question on the writing section?

its not origins because the passage didnt explicitly talk about the origins of the practice which would include way back into its history. moreover, you probably didnt read the question right. it probably said what was the author PRIMARILY talking about. the origins answer was pretty extreme

@grunterbaum1 Wasn’t it the answer with “because”
