^^ only if life was that easy loll.

@americanschools: there was a report a few yrs back which said that some korean test takers actually cheated on the SAT by getting their SAT questions the night before the actual test.

Quote:
"SAT Takers Use Time Zone Differences to Cheat

Koreans studying in America are proving their scholastic aptitude by taking advantage of the time difference between Korea and the U.S. to cheat on their scholastic aptitude test or SAT. The SAT can be taken in eight places in Korea, with the rising number of candidates reaching 1,853 last year.

An 18-year-old student who gave his name as Park and studies at a high school in Connecticut said, “During the SAT in May, a friend of mine at Korea International School fed me some of the math and language questions, so I had an easy time with it.” This is possible because, although test papers are only opened on the day, Korea is 14-17 hours ahead of the U.S. If student A, who finishes the SAT in Korea on the morning of May 7, at noon calls student B in Washington, where it is 10:00 p.m. on May 6, and gives him the questions on the test, student B can prepare for the test and get a good nights sleep before the morning of May 7 arrives there. Bae, attending a school in Massachusetts, said, “On the May SAT, a friend of mine who took the test in Korea told me some of the questions, and they were exactly the same as the ones on the test I took.”
Lee, 24, studies at a top university in the U.S. and tutors the SAT when he returns to Korea each vacation. He admits he too once fed the questions to a friend in the U.S. “Some of the students I tutor ask me to take the test here in Korea and call them in the States with the questions. I was really perplexed when even parents asked me to do that.”

Song, 24, who also tutors the SAT in Seoul, said, “I can’t guarantee that the SAT questions are exactly the same in Korea and the U.S., but perhaps like the Korean university entrance exam, there are only two or three test papers… There are 10 sections, and it seems they send the test papers after they mix up the order of the questions in each section or mix up the sections at random.”

lol yeah i intended on that being a joke. my real average from the BB2 so far is 2209.6

Hoping for 2350+ but probably won’t happen because I haven’t prepared in a few months LOL. Although I did do all the BB tests twice, all the online course tests, all of Princeton Review’s tests, and read countless books including Direct Hits. I hope all that time and effort persists.

senior taking the sat here for 3rd time.
1st try-2000 in oct 2009
2nd try- 2210 in jan 2010
hoping for a 2370+ this time…

god. first attempt 1980. second attempt 2100. this time’s my last try, and going for a 2400. took 2 real exams from previous years, and hit around 2350.

Well I just realized the test is in less than 2 weeks…Anyone else nervous (I haven’t even began to study and I bought so many test prep stuff)

OMG OMG the test is in less than 2 weeks i’m soooo nervous, but i soo wanna to get this over with. stressed.

^ same here!!! UGH! I really need to study too…

Omgz so screwweeddd

Holy **** 6 days left Holy****

5 days left for me. I’m trying to relax and not study so much because doing so makes me nervous. I don’t want Oct. 9 to come, and yet I’m dying for the whole thing to be over with so I can go on with completing admissions.

First and probably last attempt in 5 days. I’m a senior. Aiming for 2300, though expecting 2100+ because I know I will get no sleep the night before and make lots of careless mistakes.

My rule for SAT in October: no panic.

Really dreading Math. I expect a 750+ on both CR and Writing, but am hoping to break 600 on Math. Any advice for studying Math? At least I can take it again in November…

PMelillo: if you are expecting 750+ in CR and writing, you’re probably pretty smart. Maybe you just need some more practice so you can get a feel for how to answer SAT-type math questions?

You can go here: SAT Study Guide – SAT Suite | College Board for BB2 explanations.

Also, try taking doing some untimed math sections without a calculator. SAT questions are designed to be doable without a calculator, and doing questions without a calculator makes you think outside the box more.

Good luck!

hi how r u i can help you in solving any hard problems in sat exams
