I can not decide if I want to apply early decision. If I did, it would probably be to Brown’s PlME program. I took the ACT last June and got a 33. I was planning on retake it, because I got above a 34 on everything, except I got a 26 in math. I would have to retake it October 22nd…so my scores would not be back by Nov. 1st. If I were to apply early decision, is it possible for me to apply and then submit my scores after the deadline? I have heard of this before and so I was wondering if anyone knew if this was possible or if possible at Brown.
Thanks

you might want to check Brown’s admissions deadlines on their website. Most colleges that have an early decision deadline of Nov.1 ask that you take the ACT by the October 22nd date and the SAT by October 1st. So you should be fine. Good luck!

When you say “by October 22nd,” do you mean including the 22nd? Also, if I were to do worse the second time and I had sent them automatically would this hurt my chances?

sorry i kinda worded it oddly. yes, the last day you can possibly take it is oct. 22nd. i think they would take your highest scores regardless of whatever dates you took it.
