For the cylinder one, I got 75.

Even if you flipped the cylinder around and used opposite a and b, it still gave 75. I tried both :)

hahah yeah me too! 36pi for something too

math question about 40 students per bus , How many buses needed? please help!! choices were 4,5,6,7,8

Not 8 as a choice, but 9 sorry

yea, i think i got 75 too. what did u guys get for the equilateral. triangle in which they said D is the mpt. of BC or sumthin like that.

IIRC, I put 5 on that bus problem.

90 degrees?

i got 5 for the buses (i think its wrong tho)

On the very last question on the English test, am I the only one who chose C? It said something about how the purpose of the policy had changed a lot since it was made. What followed in the final paragraph directly supported that, so I put C.

One about paper thickness equation? was it .0002 times 2^n because that's what I put. anyone else? please help!!

can anyone confirm the bus one?

which passage was that?

That's what I put, Studying Stud.

i think i put the same answer, studying stud (not sure tho..guessed)

This one was discussed earlier but it has been bothering me...something about the bacteria with mitochondria or chloroplasts or cell membranes?

i saw on other posts that is was cell membrane ( i put nucleus...w/e)

i put mitochondria...i took biology a long ass time ago.

on the bus one i put 5. did it in like 5 seconds though.

"ACT never reports its scale it used."

What about the scales posted in the Real ACT Study Book?

I believe the bus one was 5.

Studying Stud - Yes, that was the correct answer (You could have found the width for the first 3 or 4 folds and found the pattern).

English - Piece of cake. Provided I didn't make any stupid mistakes by not reading the question/answers correctly or something, I probably got a ~35.

Math - Overall pretty easy. Funny that everybody mentions that the last 15 were hard. Right after the first break my friend told me that the first 45 were easy and that the last 15 were killer. I thought that it was just him because I only found ~4 problems near the end that were "killer." But it's funny that it seems everybody agrees that the questions got harder at exactly the last 15. I probably got a ~32.

Reading - I was worried about running out of time on this one (I didn't even get to the 4th passage on my first practice test). However, I found the questions to be easier (Or perhaps I just got better at finding the answers after taking practice tests?) and I ended up finishing with a little under a minute left. I probably got a 30-31.

Science - Everything was pretty easy/what the practice tests were like except for the a question or 2 on that bacteria passage and the last 3-4 questions on that last passage (The radiactive decay passage). I really got screwed by some of those questions. I think I got a 29-30, but if the curve is favorable and others also really screwed up, I think I got a ~31.

Essay - Okay. Easier than I expected, but I still made some goofs. The questions asked if it is okay for high schools to cut elective classes in order to deal with budget issues. My essay wasn't the 5 paragraph form (It was only 4, it an intro, 2 supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion) and I used "we" in there (I quoted it, but I'm not sure if it's still allowed..darn!). I think I got a 9-10 on it.

nickdechile - Prokaryotes don't have mitochondria. It was cell membrane.

Haha, I wish I remembered what I learned in Biology freshman year. That sucks.

Wait what? I guess we got different tests or something

Well English was okay, some questions were kinda tricky
Math was really easy (you guys thought the math was hard? well, the last 5 were kinda tricky, i left like 2 blank)
Reading was ok, BUT THEY DIDN'T GIVE US ENOUGH TIME! ARGH...
Science was ok, but, again, NOT ENOUGH TIME!
Essay was ok, but I don't think I wrote enough

That does it...THE SAT I IS BETTER! (even though both tests suck)
