I'm with the 5/36...I think it's already been explained enough:

2 6
3 5
4 4
5 3
6 2

For english, does anyone remember the question in the beginning about the Madam's hair care business that said "which of the following could LEAST be substituted for the underlined word (promoted)"

Choices were liek progress, publicize, and some others....I put progress

I put progress as well.
There was another question like that later on in the Special Olympics essay, with choices like influence, induce, etc. Anyone remember what they put?
I think I put induce.

IIRC, I put "induce." It made no sense at all in that context.

What about the math question that went something like this:

"There are 30 students. Each took two tests. 28 passed the first, and 25 passed the second. What is the minimum number of students who passed both?"

I'm almost certain I missed this one. I put 25, but now I think it was 23.

It was def. either 25 or 23; I'm not sure which one I put though...

it was 23

and btw, induce means to pursuade or push someone to do something, or in other words motivate.

the word that didn't fit was "influence" or something, because it didn't directly mean motivate. So influence was the odd one out, and the answer.

do you guys remember that golf question. it was like which place should the ball hit so the angle will be the same and will hit the hole. i think i guessed E

yea it was E, or whatever the last point was. the slopes of the lines were the same

23--

30-7=23

induce:

to lead or move by persuasion or influence, as to some action or state of mind: to induce a person to buy a raffle ticket.

i put induce. i dont remember the context of the sentence.

hm i dunno, i think the answer was influence...it seemed a little too mild

Yeah, I was between induce and influence. Frankly, neither of them sounded quite right to me. Stupid ACT.

i put induce. e for the golf question. i missed the dice one oops. progress.

induce i believe was asking about the special Olympic one not about the hair care product lady.

and...i put 23 for the test one.

23 for passing test, e for golf, 5/26 for dice, induce/progress both inacceptable ways of describing. Yesssss! I got all of these answers.... And they're correct!

can someone tell me the reading passages in order?

did u guys have lik "deal" for ur answer on the english?? think the choices were company, firm, and..

Yeah, I'm fairly sure I put "deal" for one of the questions.

I think I put deal

it's deal yea, the choices were deal, firm, company, business
