How did you all think the test was? What was hard and what wasn’t?

I thought the calculator section was painstakingly easy while the math no clac was harder than expected. The reading and writing difficulty was as expected.

I thought the math no calculator section was difficult, but the math calculator section was about the same difficulty level as always. The reading and writing was pretty easy. That being said, I’m terrible at math, but I’m usually strong at reading and writing, so I’m sure that is why I felt the way that I did when I was taking the test.

Despite my strength in math, I’ve never finished the calculator section with more than 5 minutes left (~16 practice tests) but this time I finished with 15-20 minutes left. Also, I thought the last passage was difficult in the reading section.

I’ve done all 6 collegeboard practice tests, and compared to those I thought both sections of math were incredibly easy. I’ve never finished non-calc with more than 5 mins, but this time I finished with 10 left, and calc with about 25. The free response q’s were especially easier than usual.
The reading and writing were about the same as always but a few writing grammar questions were sort of unpredicted.

I completely agree that the student produced responses were extremely easy

Was the last section experimental?

Did everyone have extra random sections at the end?? And do those count or are they trial questions for later??

My daughter had a “section 5” at the end. She was a little weirded out and said different people had different subjects. I guess those are trial questions?

That was my guess too. It’s a little choochy of the students imo. They are making money off of forcing them to pilot those questions. If they test questions in other venues, it would cost the company money. I’m feeling grumpy about this.

The section five was composed of trial questions. I’m pretty sure her proctor was supposed to make note of that! @luckymama64

The reading and writing sections felt surprisingly difficult (I was left uncertain far more than I’d have liked, although I think I did well) while the math was a breeze. I too was surprised by the with-calc section’s relative lack of difficulty!

I’d also like to note that the passages were especially interesting for the reading section; I had fun reading most of them!

I thought that math was extremely easy, except for one problem on the calculator section I think college board messed up? I am almost confident that there was a typo with the answer choices. The essay was easy to write. The writing MC was easy though I might have messed up on a couple. I thought reading, however, was difficult and I don’t exactly know how to feel about it. I was unfamiliar wtht a lot of the vocab and didn’t understand some of the passages.

Verbal was alright (I feel like I scored higher on this). Math was alright too. I know I missed 3 on math, though (hope I guessed correctly).

Which one did they mess up on.

I though reading was fairly essay, writing moderate, and math and the essay fairly easy.

What question do u think there was a typo on

@Fluteplayer17
I saw that problem to, but I didn’t say anything to my procter (mostly because I’m usually just doing the math wrong and I didn’t want people to think I’m stupid). Reading was really easy and the writing section was fairly easy. The no calculator section was difficult, but the calculator section was a little easier than normal.

Ha i can relate to doing the maths wrong as well @Meganerd2012

@Fluteplayer17 @Meganerd2012 which problem did you think they messed up on? I was able to answer all questions and check, and I didn’t see anything odd.

Math was pretty easy for me lol not so sure about Reading but writing was a little bit harder than expected
