OCTOBER SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2

im so worried.. i left 6 questions blank and this was my retake...

godd.. the most stupidist thing i did was to take MATHS first out of the other 2.
I skipped atleast 5 and atleast 3 wrong..!!
wat does it make???

Wat do u thnk the curve will be this time?

wait whats the usual curve for an 800? 45?

44 is the usual curve, but I can see this test going down to 42.

i hope so, lolcats4^

Are you guys sure its answer choice "c" for the one with x^4?

yup its C.. was so confused wid the question, i was still thinking the question even in the last moment.

increase of pi/3 to pi/6; LEFT TOTALLY NO IDEA
last question 50; didnt even bother 2 see it
range question; LEFT ITm nvr good at it
standard dev question; WRONG i guessed it completely
treadmill; not sure..
dont remember others.. im sure there r more

yeh one more i remeber.. the point n a line!!
i marked a line and a ray COZ I SAW ONLY "TWO PLANES" NOT THREE :-(

Guys,
if i answered all 50, and got like 7 wrong, what score is that?

Minimum 770 I'd say

It was 21 for the remainder question.

so what would the best prep be if i'm a senior in trig? i haven't seem many of the concepts on the test.

would a combo of amsco, PR, and sparknotes do the trick?

i've come to the conclusion that barrons would be too hard for me. a 660-700 would more than suffice.

i thought the best people to ask would be those who've just taken it..

Until around question 27ish I thought CB had screwed up and given us Math I :-). Then I was like *** THESE ARE HARD. I ended up doing the first half of the test in ~15 minutes and than slowing way down and answering all but six.

I know I got at least three more wrong from you guys, and probably a couple more. Hows a raw score of 35-40 looking on this?

At least chem and physics were nice and easy (for me at least).

^^agreed completely. I think those bastards at CB were trying to give us a false sense of confidence, only for it to come crashing down halfway through the test.

^ Yeah I thought it was a joke until the mid 20s and it was like hitting a brick wall at top speed LOL

OMG I thought the same thing that the CB gave us math 1 by mistake. I was all like "hmmm, this is too easy" up until like question 30 and did those in like 20 minutes. But then I hit a brick wall and almost didn't finish. The second half of that test was just pure evil.

QUOTE: "I know I got at least three more wrong from you guys, and probably a couple more. Hows a raw score of 35-40 looking on this?"

I'm wondering the same thing.

I thought the test was very hard too....The first 30 questions were actually very easy. But questions 40 to 50 were mind-boggling.....I am also wondering how a raw score of 35-40 would look like.....So much for wanting to get 800......

Ehh, it wasn't TOO bad. I only skipped that pin and wheel one. And I know I missed one more, but I rushed the first half so I could get to the tough ones quickly, so I probably missed some in there. I think the curve will be like 4-5 800.

uhh you can loose -6 raw points for an 800. i have never heard of a mathiic requiring a raw score greater than 44 for 800
