I know that it is often said that one should take the SAT's no more than 3 times. That being said, I find myself in a tough situation. I first took the SATs in October, but since have bettered both my writing and verbal scores. I took it again in January, which is when I recieved my highest CR score. Lastly, I just recieved my June scores on which I recieved my highest Math and only Writing Score.

This is three times. On the Writing Portion, though, I only scored a 680 -- on practice tests I easily get in the low-mid 700's. In fact, this is the lowest I've ever scored on writing. I know now not what to do.

Is it bad if I take the SAT's again, in hopes of uping my Writing score by 40-60pts? I'm nearly certain I can do it - as I always have - but I'm worried if taking the SAT's 4 times is egregious.

Thanks for any input you can offer, it's truly appreciated.
