SATs third time around?

So I took the December SATs and got a score that I was content with but not completely satisfied with. My goal is 2200+ and I got a 2120. Then, I took the June SATs and went down 100 points; I went down in both the CR and Math sections and improved minimally in Writing.

What I wanted to know is if it's worth it to try a third time around? I heard from somewhere that it's not good to take the SATs over and over because colleges look down upon that.

Most people say that 3 is a good amount of times to take the SAT. But 3 is usually the maximum recommended. You can definitely take it again. Good luck!

Thank you! I’m going to have to study a lot for this one because I desperately want a score of 2200+.
