Offers of Appointment for class of 2010

Does anyone know how long it generally takes to receive the offer of appointment after the nomination is received assuming there is an LOA?

Congratulations to Archie44 and S&S....job well done! T-203 days 'till those buzz cuts!

...and to you too hamarcelo... be sure to hold your head up just as high for NAPS- "many apply, but few get chosen"....and what an advantage you will have when I-day 2011 rolls around! (and 2010 may still be in the running- you never know!)

Hi. i hail from missouri. i got an loa dated sept 27, and just finished a couple interviews from my senators and reps boards. i hope i get a nomination. (they said before christmas, but that's still almost 2 weeks to wait...)

Hey ya'll,

Just wanted to let you know that i got my full 100% appointment letter today, how exciting nay? for all you who had a nomination and loa it took about 2-3 weeks after i finished my loa to get my appointment letter, however, some of that was over thanksgiving break. So don't give up on the wiat...good luck to all

Talk to yall later,

Andrew

Congrats Andrew + Lizgirl!! Plan to see you June 28th! :D

I received my LOA Halloween, and I got my nomination by phone. Offer of Appointment should come this week. Woohoo!

CONGRATS you guys!! You're gonna look good in Dress Blues!

that video is horrible

I am simply speechless....

I'm no tree-hugging hippie, but that SERIOUSLY ticked me off! That bastard should be court-martialed!

He can't even use the excuse that they ate the poor thing. It was too small to feed anyone.

OH! I AM ****ED!

Rumor has it that the individual in the video is indeed facing court martial proceedings. At least that is what I heard at the Army-Navy game last weekend.

Good!

Heartless bastard!

With so many of the ENEMY around to kill, he picks a helpless animal.

Some idiots simply have no common sense or judgement.

it didn't even look like Bill the Goat. Actually, it didn't really look like he shot the goat, maybe the goat was demonstrating a trick?

How many times are you going to post the same link?

Yep. I agree. No need to post it over & over. The shock value is only good for one go round. Pretty disgusting. That guy needs some therapy. This kinda took away from the whole thread celebration here don't ya think?

Asward - How often did you read and re-read the letter last night? :) SWEET! Congrats Mr. Palmetto! Proud another SC kid is gonna go do big things!

I had a quick question for those with LOAs or Appointments. Did your CIS profile get deleted after you recieved your LOA/Appointment?

No, nothing changes.

Hmmm, my CIS profile has been down for almost a day

my daughter's CIS is readily accessible...she got an LOA in late Sept. and we just checked again - it's working on our end

sorry, my computer was acting up and it posted the link by accident.

Rosa

I'm in!! Just got off the phone with Senator's office when they said they were rescinding (sp?) my nomination since I already had an acceptance, when the doorbell rang and my favorite person in the entire world, our friendly postal worker, gave me my acceptance!!! THIS IS THRILLING!!! How can I be expected to do homework on a night like this? My friends who applied for Ivy ED don't even have responses yet!!

SPREAD THE JOY!!! Good luck to all you still waiting!!
