Haven’t received anything in the mail yet. Looks like they’re taking this into June lol.

Nor have I. It’d be awesome to get it tomorrow though! Best birthday present I could ask for.

I’m really getting tired of opening the mailbox and seeing a large white envelope, only to see that it’s just something for my parents. Hopefully the anticipation ends soon.

I saw a thin white envelope today in the mail…it was from my current school thankfully lol. My birthday is June 11…hopefully I don’t get rejected on that day

Hello again! Sorry for the late reply. No my letter didn’t say anything regarding how many people applied, so sorry I can’t be any more help.

Bigmike: I’m from South Bend too, but I went to Penn ha.

Penn? Nice. I know a few kids that went there/have cousins over there. I’d ask if you know anyone I do…but with Penn as massive as it is, doubtful haha.
I really hope I open the mailbox today and see that big fat envelope!

Penn state or upenn? Lol

And happy birthday bigmike! You hear back?

Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you! Remember, good things come to those who wait :). They seriously do notify up until July 1st so not hearing by now really means nothing.

nothing in the mail again today! it’s just a little frustrating because looking at threads from last year people started to find out in late may and it seems that almost no one has heard anything!!

Thanks! And still nothing today unfortunately
I’m glad none of us have other deadlines for schools. I do kind of think it’s odd that ND operates so much later than everyone else when it comes to transfers

Colette- I agree! I was researching last year’s thread and people were finding out so much earlier than we are. What is everybody’s intended major? I think Arts and Letters takes the longest to respond.

Arts and Letters does take the longest to respond. I know, it does seem they take longer to notify than most other schools, however, I think their transfer admissions wants to make absolutely sure they’re taking students whom they really feel will be a perfect fit, both academically and community-wise. They certainly don’t need transfer students, but they sure do want them – and welcome them with embracing arms. Their Transfer Orientation was a wonderful experience for both my son and us. Again, wishing you all the large white envelope in your mailboxes really soon!!!

Had a dream last night about the big white ND envelope coming in the mail - absolute torture!! come onnnn mailman!

I went to my mailbox this morning and got a big fat white envelope, but I turned it over and it was for my mom’s work. What a tease! haha

Nothing in the mail either. I just realized that a higher GPA is required to get into Arts and Letters than Science and Engineering. That was some discouraging news.

Also, I just received word that my application (along with others) is still being evaluated. Probably will not hear back for awhile.

Colette that’s so weird! I had TWO dreams last night I got the big letter. Needless to say I was moderately disappointed when I woke up.
I really don’t see how we can’t know by the end of next week.

Nothing’s written in stone re: the GPA – don’t despair!!! It’s just one of many components they take into account.
