this should shake things up!:P

dude. why are you guys scared of calling. just don't give your name. they can't detect who you are over the phone. ya'll sure are yale material.

i called today and they said they haven't been mailed. should be out by next week.

where did you guys apply/ where have you heard from

i applied to columbia brown and chicago as well and have not heard from any of them

Twelve more hou... wait nevermind, they haven't even sent letters out yet (going on what ivy-transfer said).

The agony!

Tomorrow was really just a generous approximation since the date from last years threads falls during the weekend. It'll most likely be Mon-Tues.

sigh

good luck to all of you!!!!
you need this

according to Marianne
decisions will go out in the mail sometime in the "middle to the end of next week"

fab.

Hmms, I wonder if that means people who were accepted may receive emails informing them of their acceptance in the beginning of next week . . .

i hope they'd send us (accepted or not) an e-mail tomorrow, as they did last year.

Hmm...Doubtful. It'll probably be monday since I don't think they do any form of correspondence during weekends.

undisclosed, true, but i have that tiny hope sparking inside as they sent an e-mail to accepted applicants last year on a saturday :)

Really are you sure it wasn't a Thursday?

If not then, permission to squeal.

i thought it was may 12, 2007... no?

they found out on a saturday last year, but that was for an international?

i want my rejection letter, now!

admitted transfers, when you know, report to my inbox ASAP!!! (this is an order) i want to know how many people me and some other current-generation transfers can expect taking out to dinner this fall.

you WILL be smothered in love.

frrph, don't say things like that! makes me just more sad about my pending rejection =(

Considering this thread has turned into a conversational nightwatch, with nearly hourly updates by Transfurious, I'm pretty sure you'll get live coverage as soon as the first email/letter/phone call/telegram hits, frrrph.

frrrrrrrrphhhhhhh aww u sound cool.

lol what a nerdy thing to say.

ah well. u do go to penn.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I know I haven't posted on this before.... but I have been reading it, and in response to the when they will e-mail us thing, I talked to Marianne yesterday afternoon (I had never received confirmation that my application was complete) and I asked if they would be notifying by e-mail (because I never got a confirmation e-mail) and she said no they will send the decisions to our permanent address. I don't know if maybe she was wrong or something but I figured I would pass the information on.....
or was it that you only get an e-mail if you are accepted?
well anyway, just trying to be helpful

Awws thanks a million Frrrph I'm sure who ever does get in will benefit so much more by having current transfers like yourself extending an olive branch of camaraderie and support. Do you remember when you received your acceptance? Was it via email?
I think from some posts I saw from last year several ppl got an email on the 11( a friday) and others found out on the 12th and then the following Monday onward. Perhaps the office is not at liberty to disclose that they send emails out to some or all ( not sure ) of the applicants.
