<p>Northeastern got over 43,200 applicants this year. Also, in case you were wondering, last year about 200 students were taken off the waitlist.</p>

<p>strumshine - sometimes there is no explaining the ‘why’ of the admissions process…my DD is a junior pre-med at Harvard right now and she didn’t get into all of her safety schools and we just kind of chuckled because sometimes it just doesn’t make sense. You have great stats so just keep moving forward and I am a firm believer that you will end up exactly where you belong! Good luck!</p>
