That one I got, there was another quote though. Also, in my second FRQ (#7) I accidentally misclassified Russia as right-wing totalitarian, when it was actually left-wing totalitarian. I only brought it up once, in talking about economic problems leading to authoritarianism, but how many points will I lose? I think the rest of that essay was pretty good.

@PlayerZero it was Michel de Montaigne in the barbarism quote

Honestly, I thought the mc was really easy! And the essays were pretty good. I guess getting B’s the whole year with a really hard but phenomenally amazing teacher was worth it.

I thought the multiple choice was pretty average, probably got 58-62/80… The DBQ I thought was also pretty straight forward and I used a lot of outside info and 9/12 sources so that I’m thinking 7-8/9… I picked essay three which I kind of ********ted but I think it came out decently. Likely 6/9… I then did essay five, about women, and also think I did pretty well on that, maybe like 7/9? That would be a 5 according to AP pass pretty safely even when using the lower end of those ranges. So I’m hopeful…

yeah I guess I missed that one… some of the random trivia was a bit annoying on MC

What did you guys write about the women exactly? I don’t know if what I wrote made any sense

i wrote about total war, simone de beauvoir, and existentialism

total war as in ww1?

For the question about witch hunts:

Was the answer that it occurred mostly in Central Europe?

I wrote about total war in WWI, the permissive society (with the extended education, sexual freedom, and rise of birth control), and the different movements (Suffrage, Existentialism, I also spoke about how female leaders of these movements like Simone de Beauvoir provided a good model for women).
For the other FRQ, I said renaissance art displayed a support of monarchs and absolutist leaders (as seen with Hans Holbein and the Italian portraits), and I said that the neoclassical movement and romantic movement was critical of governments and displayed a revolutionary spirit (Goya’s satire and symbolic painting, Cronus Eating his Children, and David’s work in total, specifically the death of the Jacobin revolutionary {forgot his name}).

@stufintheturkey I’m pretty sure it was Roman Catholic countries

I got raped by the multiple choice…it was ridiculous. I left like 10 blank and who knows if I got the rest right. My God, even Crash Course didn’t save me there. At all. But the essays were fine. I owned the DBQ (wrote 6 paragraphs) but BSed the FRQs (wrote 4 paragraphs for each)…chose 4 and 5.

4 Paragraphs isn’t bad according to my euro teacher. But they have to be strong and loaded with info.

Well that test destroyed me, especially the multiple choice. What the heck, that was so hard. DBQ was fine, FRQs were shaky.

The multiple choice killed me. My teacher emphasized on everything before 1950 and didn’t teach the Cold War and beyond. However, I definitely thought I did well on the DBQ and the FRQs (#3 and 5).

was the witchcraft one Roman Catholic countries or Central Europe?

I put Roman Catholic but now I’m thinking it’s central…

Future AP Euro kids, Crash Course is not enough for a 4/5 anymore from today’s test!

& I wrote about birth control, WWI, and I think this one is total BS but I said they were going to rebuild Europe from the wars & they also gained many jobs from WWI so they wanted to take advantage of the opportunities.

If we cross out a lot, does this affect our score? I crossed like straight 4 lines out…my thoughts were jumbled at one point.

@lizardking: Crash Course didn’t help me much either, at least not as much as I thought it would. I was really disappointed that there wasn’t an FRQ about the Cold War; I did 4 and 7 and pretty much BSed both of them. Hoping for a 4, but I think I got a 3.

you’re not graded on crossed out stuff, says the orange sheet.

I started writing about women then crossed out the whole paragraph and wrote about fascist leaders instead.

Does anyone know if we need to have a lot of background knowledge and examples for frqs? i mean i just kinda wrote general stuff about the time periods so I don’t know how they’ll be scored.
