College park scholars is one of their living learning program. You will live in the Cambridge community (dormed there b/c your colloquium classes are held there). Each major has only about 50-75 kids admitted per yr. so you will get a more close knit feeling. Most of your friends for 1st semester will be taking identical classes, thus making transitioning easier. The largest course DS had was 200-250 and that was Econ. Your diploma will state Scholars, and then the school.

I.E DS is Govt and Politics with a military history concentration. His school is UMDCP Behavior and Social Sciences with Scholars annotated.

D has high GPA, high SAT, etc. She was accepted into the Scholars Program, now trying to learn more about it! Her sister was ecstatic that she may be joining her in Maryland!!!
