<p>Just an update for anyone that have been following and may be concerned about their own situations…</p>
<p>I was contacted by a new AO today. She requested and unofficial transcript of my spring grades emailed to her as well as an official one sent to the school. I’m not sure how to interpret this besides that they are still reviewing my file to reach a decision. </p>
<p>If you haven’t received a decision yet, obviously the committee is still working on finalizing candidates, and yours too may be under review atm, so let’s not call it over until it’s over

<p>Ah I must have gotten denied then, since no additional information has been requested… Which would mean they have already reached a decision, but since I haven’t gotten an email I presume they are waiting till June 1 to send the rejection in the mail…</p>

I requested an official transcript be sent out as soon as possible, but was not asked for it.</p>
<p>@GunninMed how did you get your spring grades on an unofficial transcript already? UMD doesn’t calculate final grades til the 27th</p>
<p>@KingofSweden I would have sent my transcripts too if it wasn’t requested. Anything to be proactive. </p>
<p>@Luthsn I wouldn’t say that means a rejection. For me I applied with somewhere above a 3.95, my grades this semester are just the same as the past semesters so I’m hoping for the best. If I didn’t do worse than the records they have that must be a good thing?
Regarding the unofficial transcript, I’m dual enrolled as I work and a bit nontraditional, so some of my courses are in the evening (science in the evening prog) some gen eds are online and the rest are on campus. Those non trad courses had grades calculated a few days ago as they ended on the 10th, I log into the account online and it takes a few minutes then creates an unofficial transcript based on what’s in the database. The others I have each professor fill out a “grade as of current date”. So I attach files for each one and the official transcript comes in when grades are posted.
I had to send in Midterm reports for some of the other schools I applies to so I’ve been through the process not too long ago. It’s annoying especially with my unusual situation. </p>

<p>I was accepted a few weeks ago as an Econ major @eitele34. Just visited campus today, and it is GORGEOUS!!!</p>
<p>@KingofSweden @transfer1235234 Thanks! I’m so so excited right now! I heard through an email that arrived at 2:20pm PST (I was crashing head first into a final so I wasn’t checking my email at the time).</p>

<p>@sonolacrosse yea I just saw that looking back. You’re stats were pretty amazing. I didn’t see anyone else so maybe you were an absolute acceptance. At least that’s what I’m hoping since I know they do it by departments </p>

<p>@Luthsn I know exactly how you’re feeling. While I’ve been genuinely happy for all the people who have gotten in, there’s just this feeling of really, really wanting to get in as well. I was really surprised to come home to find the email in my inbox. I had been checking my email up to around 15-20 minutes before the email arrived in my inbox and I really didn’t expect to hear back today. I got rejected from the two other private colleges I applied to, so I had begun to be very defeatist about my chances at Georgetown. I hope you hear back soon with an acceptance and good luck!
