@wellletshope I have no idea why, but they sent it at 2:36AM…LOL

@greengecko where are you? or is that EST?

I’m in California. So I guess it would have been 5:36AM for them.

@greengecko thanks:) and congrats again!!! fingers crossed for the rest of us:)

@greengecko if you don’t mind me asking, why did you apply to NYU since california has a great school system (possibly the best of any state) ?

@ripetomato43 I’m applying to the school of Film & TV at NYU, which is known to be one of the most prestigious film schools in the world. California has USC, but I applied there too.

Good luck everyone else, I’m sure they’re still sitting at their computers going through all you guys, deciding which acceptances to hand out first!

I applied to Tisch Film & TV, but haven’t heard anything…Judging by you guys getting in, I’m worried this means a denial is on the way :/

@drumstikka Don’t fret! As far as we know this is just the first day they are sending out admissions. It’s only 12:30 they day isn’t over yet and I am positive they will be sending out more admissions notifications past today.

@angelbeats Yes it did change before

Do they do acceptances by school? Because it seems people who got in today got into Tisch, and I applied to Gallatin and I’m freaking out not having heard anything ugghhhh

and my financial aid never changed but i was able to apply for housing but i feel like that means nothing i’m just really nervous!!

Hi guys! I just found out this thread like one hour ago, and to my surprise, many of you guys mentioned that nyu albert application status is still not complete yet…what a relief, at least I wasn’t alone all these time, haha. By the way, I am applying to Stern as an international transfer student from Malaysia. =]

@mel325 Yes they do acceptance by school. CONGRATS SO FAR, GUYS!!!

is it weird that i got totally happy and less stressed when I found out you guys got accepted? Gosh Im so proud of you guys and i don’t even know you personally

@mel325 I applied to Gallatin as well and I haven’t heard anything either… I’m hoping we hear soon though since the school is smaller and less competitive than Stern or Tisch

Got accepted to CAS as an Economics major this morning by email! I did not apply for financial aid but it did change from award access not available to showing the year. Good luck everyone!

I just got an email that they are missing my high school transcript. So I called NYU and they said they are not missing my trascript, they have it but the transcript is supposed to state that you have graduated and then have the date you graduated. My counselor stated on it that I graduated but forgot to put the date So I am in a rush now to request another transcript be sent and it’s really frustrating. I’m just curious but do any of you know why the date of graduation is necessary? Isn’t it just important that it says I graduated… I mean Penn had no problem with that… Why does NYU need the date?

I applied to Tisch for Film & Television, I’m really starting to worry. Do you think I have a chance?
