Official 2014 NYU Transfer Thread

does anyone know if for stern they send admission decisions rolling or will everyone know on the same day?

@rachel25 my assumption is that they accept a small pool who fill in the current gap right away, decline those who clearly do not qualify, and then decide on a rolling basis for all those who would be considered to be on a wait list… Only an assumption though.

Hey guys! I’ve been stalking this thread since May 1 and I reached the point where I felt the need to post. The anxiety is killing me lol. I am also a Stern applicant and it’s killing me right now. Wish you all the best of luck!

To those that have been accepted, when is the enrollment commitment deposit due? If it’s sometime in mid-May, then they would have to release all decisions before then.

@MrTaiTea‌ it says on the website 3 weeks after offer of admission!!! Hopefully they notify everyone soon!! This is killing me!!! [-O<

@MrTaiTea‌ accepted on the 6th deposit due by the 20th

I assume the deposit date is rolling based on the date of your acceptance

@theyadoreyou‌ congrats! Could you please tell us your stat?

@ftgirl thank you! I actually posted them already back on page 31

solo who thinks we’ll get some decisions tomorrow…? hahah

lets hope! @rachel25

I was accepted on the 6th, deposit due on the 27th

@sorakeybade‌ if you don’t mind my asking, to what school?

@sorakeybade‌ have you heard anything from financial aid yet?

Hey! I’ve been following this thread for a while. I just got a rejection email for NYU Stern :frowning:
If someone who does get into stern, post their stats, that would be great. Thanks!

I just got my email from NYU, rejected by NYU Stern =((, feeling awful now…sigh

Rejected… I am so disappointed. NYU is my dream school and I thought I had a really good chance to get in. It looks like I’m going to USC Marshall now

has anyone got rejected from cas yet?

I’ll be going to UT Austin now
Do you guys think it’d be worth applying again next year to stern? Ugh I really want to go to NYU! Any recommendations?

According to the stats last year, among 1000+ applicants they only can effort to admit 25 transfer students for stern, it’s like 0.025 chance, i’ll be going to U of waterloo to pursue my Actuarial science T.T… NYU bye…:((
