If anyone is looking for SAT grammar guides, definitely check out Erica Meltzer’s blog. I read through all her grammar posts the night before the SAT, and it was SUPER helpful (she also has a book, but I didn’t use it).

Im pretty much done with reading and writing at this point. I got the score I wanted for reading and I cant improve any more on writing (800 woohoo). I just want 750+ on math this time!
Please explain what’s wrong with this sentence in improving sentences and how the correct answer is better. To what common error/s does this belong?
Born of Ibuza parents in Nigeria,Buchi Emecheta moved to England in 1962,since which she has lived in North London
Correct:1962,and has lived in North London since then.
@vidupzz
(Since which) and (born of) not idiomatic
should be (since when) and (born to)
Guys any website or book for the reading section?
I always mess up in the first 5 questions.Comprehensions go on really well.
Can anyone please give me any last minute tips for cr passages? I am mostly weak in them.
Giving it for the first time. Can anyone give me tips on how to tackle the CR?
CR TIPS
Play Devil’s Advocate - try to understand why 4 choices are wrong
Read the passages like you love them
General answers are more likely to be correct than very specific ones
If possible, read Erica Meltzer’s The Critical Reader or several good threads on this forum
Yes as @CHD2013 said play Devil’s Advocate so you can rule out the other four answer choices. Read some of the passage before hand it helps to understand what you’re getting into. Good luck!
I’ve heard this stigma before, but apparently skipping school the day before the test can increase your score? Are you guys doing this??
Got a 1900 first try with no prep. I’ve been studying with the Blue Book, Erica Meltzer’s The Critical Reader, and Direct Hits. Hoping for a 2100+
It appears that my rigorous prep for the ACT Reading section has helped me improve my CR score (found this out by taking a practice test).

@UAS998 the answer of the stacks question is 48. To solve the question use the concept of AP (arithmetic progression) . 3 stacks -14, 5 stacks -18, so 4 stacks -16 because the stacks are identical and they are uniform. So, 2 stacks -12 and 1 stack-10 Now use the concept of AP.
a(nth term)=a+(n-1)d
So,a(20)=10+19*2=48
@UAS998 the answer of the ratio question is 10t
r/t=4/1,so r=4t
Now,4/v=10/1so, v=2/5
Now,r/v=4t/(2/5)=10t
