did anyone get experimental sections that WERE NOT like the new SAT that is coming out in 2016? Or were evevyone’s experiemtnal sections like the current format of the SAT?
The more I think about it the more serious that 20/25 minutes thing seems.
That was Section 8 right? Was it either CR or Math for people? Or was it a CR section for everyone? If it’s the former then that’s really bad, because cancelling would give an “unfair advantage” right?
@Qwerty568 thats way too harsh…-3 is probably a 710.
I put confrontational and that Easter islanders had interactions with the Pacific islanders.
@glasshours Yep, that’s the score I got! I remember being shocked because last March when I took them 8 wrong + 1 omitted was a 650. I got 6 more questions right but it only translated to a 20 point increase. I remember kids getting one question wrong and recieving a score of 750. It’s really luck of the draw.
@Upennpls16 Well, I got three wrong in October and it was a 670, and the math was just as easy this time around.
I said confrontational for the CR thing.
@Chrysanthemum14 - It was either section 8 or 9, depending on your form. Math said 20 minutes, CR said 25.
It’s not fair to the people whose proctors didn’t give them the 5 extra minutes.
@Caltechdream “more tastier” is a grammatical error… it’s redundant. I think it was just “tastier than”
for the germany book publishers one, was it “it is in Germany?”
Festive and mourning could have worked if the question asked about the “good” and “bad” time. But the question asked about the “good” and “less good” time.
@glasshours - Definitely. My section 8 was CR and said 25 minutes, but the proctor followed the instructions for 20. Definitely interested in what’s going to happen.
@16elir - Yeah, something with "it’ referring to “publishing”
I think I put physiological changes… I remember being torn between those two, but I think it was just talking about that nervous system galvanizing spike that introduced, not confirmed, a “hunch.” Don’t remember that well though.
And yeah, I put interacted with Pacific people, since canoe ladders or whatever were a common practice there.
That’s why I rushed so much in my CR section!
did anyone else read through that passage and still not know what the hell a canoe ladder is
Same haha
@yousefk It’s like a railroad made of planks that they pull the canoes up.
I thought writing was unusually easy this time personally. Probably going to be a brutal curve for writing.
what were the rest of the choices for the one of “interacted with pacific people”
@ALibertarian chill fam… i think i got two wrong on writing. i really hope the curve isn’t harsh.
-2 was a 720 on November SAT Math
