***Official 2015 June SAT (US Only) THREAD***

Yo did anyone get the math question about the stalactites and stalagmites? I haven’t seen it being discussed and it was really hard so I’m guessing it was on the experimental. I had 4 math sections…

I got 340 too! I did it the same way you did with the 100 unit base area for the square and the 4, 60 unit triangle areas - added to get 340. Also, which absolute value question are you referring to?

Also, one of the answers was MINK, because all the other choices has 2 vowels, and each vowel was worth 40 points. The sample word had 90, and mink ended up having 85

@kmacckkyyy it was 13.4 (million)

Ooh i think i put that what about the one with the graph about the amount of pages rather than copying or something??? Idr what i put at all

@djyoungqueef did the letter/word prob ask for smallest or largest?

I put A

@388854239ewr

5 is A

you should CHECK YOUR CALCULATORS if you didnt remeber what you got as the answer for a math question

Did anyone else put 3 As on the last section of writing and No As in the first section of improving sentences
And what were the 4 long passages on the SAT? (2double passage, 1 long, and 1 compare and contrast)

@TheSmartKidd yes! I’m glad to know I’m ntotbrhe only one who did this.

Anyone had LINK for Math? It had 85 points

does anyone remember the sentence completion with ESCHEW as the answer?

In the formula for the surface area of a square based pyramid takes the vertical height in the question we found the slant height so the answer is 340

@marsha.ss yes, it was “professors _____ jargon and instead opt for more familiar language” or something like this

It was 13.4 (Choice C) for the 2003 and 2005 one.
83 for the amount of pages copied (Choice B)
@student326 pi/2
@djyoungqueef it was 85 but not mink. It was either link or lime.

Just out of curiosity, are radians supposed to be tested on the SAT? I’ve never seen anything like it in practice tests, though it was a relatively easy question.

@Newdle
Well arcs are given in the Blue Book’s SAT Math Overview. I’ve seen a problem onone of the practice tests as well

I can only recall area of sector sector formula 1/2r^2theta,and was x^(t+y)/2=32 or 64 some one asked me…

nvm it should be 32 since the greatest choice is 2^6

How did you get the answer for the amount of pages copied?
