What was the postage on your acceptance letter? Was it 48 cents or was it more than that?
I just emailed my interviewer. I’m not giving up just yet!!! And I still have my 5 ivys to wait for :))
@markpasenter2 Good luck in your waitlist efforts! The best you can do is to come off patient, mature, and incredibly, top-choice-level interested.
Accepted in NJ. $0.70 envelope, pretty thick!
New to thread! Are they going to post decisions online? Or do we have to wait until the mail comes?
Decisions are sent through the mail. I know for ED we could call admissions a few days after to check decisions as well. I imagine they won’t release decisions over the phone for RD until on/after April 1st, though.
@ebonylmocanu Welcome! We’re all just sitting here worrying, feel free to join.
Georgetown is sending out admissions decisions by mail. You can go to https://www.usps.com/priority-mail/map/ and type in GU’s zip code (20057) and see how long it will take to get to your house, at least in theory. The letters were mailed out beginning yesterday, so if you’re in the one day zone, you should get your letter today. The two and three day letters should come on Monday and Tuesday respectively. GAAP will begin making calls on Tuesday. International applicants should get an email next week with their decision. It looks like as far as letters go, all are priority mail, with acceptances $0.70 and denials $0.48.
@whitespace wow, I’m impressed! Thanks for being so specific . I live in Cali so I guess I’ll have to wait until next week .
Nothing today in Upstate New York. My nerves will be going until Monday afternoon!
No one in Florida heard back seems like, guess we’ll hear from everyone come Monday basically. Gah this wait is killing me
I live on Long Island (2-day zone according to that map) and got my rejection today
I’m anxiously waiting for my mailwoman. I live in AZ, so probably won’t get letter today…
Did rejection letters have color paper in it?
@adotburr I’m sorry. Rejection stinks, there’s just not another way to put it.
@Back2school36 no, just one sheet of white paper
Also, fin aid was not in the acceptance letter.
@JDBoi78 Was it mentioned at all? As in, log in and you’ll see your aid or something? Even if I’m accepted, I need lots of aid, so I’m a little worried.
Anyone know what is in the wait list envelope?
I got my waitlist notification in SE Virginia today. However, the SFS accepts a fair amount of students from the waitlist, so there is still a chance.
Currently screaming internally, because I just want to know whether or not I got in
