@RoadtotheIvies98 Mail. Go back through the last page of comments.

@RoadtotheIvies98 they come in the mail for domestic. And I believe email next week for internationals. But I’m not positive on that.

has any international student received the email yet?

@SteadfastSoprano I’m in AZ too :-/ I don’t want to wait anymore!

Is there a way to possibly log onto the portal and see if it works (I’d figure that if it works, then it’s an acceptance and if it doesn’t, it’s a rejection)? I’m trying to find out if there’s a pattern to usernames and passwords, since I won’t be home until a few days after the decision comes in the mail.

@columbhiroller I live just north of Phoenix (like literally 5 minutes North) but I go to school in Glendale

I’m assuming that the postage is by weight, which is why acceptances seem to be $.70 while rejections and deferrals are around $.49

@JDBoi78 So you haven’t seen an award yet (since you’re missing forms)?

@ComputerAge I have not. I’m a little nervous - I hear bad things about Georgetown aid, but I’m in at Williams so I’m not too worried.

@DoubleD11 did you try to log on?

@REP26x2 not yet, I’m not sure what the link is or if there’s a pattern to the usernames and passwords

How can the decisions be sent using Priority Mail when they are paying less than $1.00 per envelope? The calculator at USPS indicates it would cost $6.45 to mail flat envelopes using Priority Mail (which guarantees 1-3 day delivery). It sounds like they are simply mailing them First Class with the cheaper postage; if that’s the case then it could take a week for some to get decisions. Can those who received letters confirm…?

@DoubleD11 Georgetown sends your netid and set password with the acceptance letter as according to the website. You might be able to do the hack id thing if you can get the format for the net id…and then infer

@stamatious that’s what I was trying to do, I figured there may be a pattern like firstname.lastname or something

@JDBoi78 I totally get this. I got $35k in aid from Chicago, so I’m imagining that my $0k figure HAS to be a mistake since my FAFSA EFC is $30k anyway. But I also have a full-tuition merit scholarship from USC, so I doubt the aid at Georgetown will be compelling enough for me to turn it down…

@DoubleD11 your NetID is your first initial, last initial, then three numbers

So for John Smith, it could be js535.

But you need the temporary password to login anyway. Your method probably won’t work.

i am a international applicant and i got a defer mail in last Dec. so i guess Gtown will also send result mail for international students, but i am sure that i will receive the email much earlier.lol

I managed to get my NetID that includes my initials by saying I forgot it and got it sent to my email along with my GUID, but not sure if this actually means anything

What is the link to the portal? Is is separate for SFS?

Can someone please post the link to the portal?
