Last time I took the ACT I did badly because it was last September before I took pre-cal. I haven’t really had time to study for this one but hopefully 30+?

Ah, good luck everybody! I got a 31 on my first go but I’m really aiming to bump it up to that oh-so sought after 32.

What is everybody studying these last few days? Are you guys looking at websites or books with English rules and math formulas or sticking more to practice tests?

@Matthew5: Well, I just took my last couple practice tests for English (33), Math (34), and Science (32), and they’re all pretty solid scores for my overall goal of a 32.

So I’m just going to do a Reading test daily until Saturday, because that’s my weakest area. If I can get it to at least a consistent ~28, I’ll be good. Other than that, I’m going to just review math formulas here and there and stuff.

Also, gotta get some pencils and calculator batteries! And finally, although it may sound cheesy, I got to bring my PMA - positive mental attitude. Seriously though, my tutor said it’s important and after some thought I agree with her. If you go in there with the mindset that you’re going to do amazing, you WILL do amazing.

get mint gum and chocolate, they both stimulate your mind

Any last math tips or formulas? i score around a 30-32

Thanks for reminding me guys, I definitely need to go to 7-11 and buy gum, 5-hour energy and some chips.

Im thinking about drinking coffee and doing a couple practice problems before the test.

I’m in freak out mode :o
I’m just so overwhelmed with everything else that’s going on now from AP classes to homework to studying for 4 tests tomorrow.
I’m praying for the best now. Whatever happens, happens.

I honesty had no time to study for this test. Ive only been studying for a week because my course load barely gives me time to breathe. Ill be taking a couple practice tests and hope for the best comes Saturday. Im planning to take a whole one Thursday and Friday. After that I will just pray lol.

Made some stupid mistakes in last practice test that cost me about two points a section. I’m panicking.

I’m not entirely sure how I feel.

I’m feeling good with math and reading. I get a solid 33-34 on math every time and a solid 32-33 on reading every time. My English score fluctuates from 29 to 35 and science goes from 29-33, so I’m nervous about those two. Hopefully I have time to practice those sections once or twice before Saturday!

I completely agree with you guys…I hate how my reading scores fluctuate. I got a 36 once and then a 26.

I just took two math practice tests. First I got a 27 on PR and 32 on the 2012-2013 act booklet they hand out.

Really don’t know what to expect…

I started from a 28(Princeton Review),but not im getting 32-34(Red Book). Hoping for a 35 this Saturday :P

It really depends on your mindset when taking practice tests. Just make sure you have a positive one when you take the real thing, and you probably will get your highest practice test score.

What grade are you in prakashpcs?

i’m entering freak out mode.
my english has been a solid 34-25
math about 28-30, but I’m a little worried I’ll freeze up or something
reading a consistent 32
but science might kill me. my range of scores in the red book is 22-30, so all I can do is hope it’s a decently easy test and that its geared towards my strength. I’m going for a 30 (though I only need a 28 so if i get above that my mom isn’t allowing me to take it again), so I’m hoping for e34, m29, r31, and hopefully a 26-27 in science.
good luck to everyone and let’s hope for a good test!!!

Anybody have good online Math/English resources to study from?
