@Frigidcold understandable. I’ve only taken the AP test 2014 and got a 3, 25/50 and I don’t recall FRQ but I felt incredibly lucky because I think I guessed on the majority of the ap questions. My class NEVER did any ap questions just free response, do you guys think it will be worth it to spend me last 3 hours up practicing multiple choice or would it be useless since my buddies told me the curriculum for MC changed after 2014 so everything beforehand is lackluster.
internuclear distance is related to covalent bond distance so you could say that N2 is the odd one out because it has a shorter distance but a lot more potential energy is stored at this distance cause its a triple bond so you’d easily see that since Y2 is the odd one out with the huge curve for potential energy, it would be A
@strongandweakguy i’d review stuff rather than practice because a 50% isn’t going to change from test to test whereas studying more on the stuff you got wrong or don’t know about on the 2014 MC will most likely help you tomorrow
@elyvine
Thank you.
I think it’s time we gather our sleep for this Chem battle tomorrow. Last minute review in the morning coming up too. Cya All. Let’s get those 5s
@strongandweakguy If you know your weaknesses, I’d review them directly as elyvine said. If you don’t know, I’d go through the actual questions to find out your weaknesses. If you want to get better at MC, don’t go too in depth on one topic.
Side note: I feel so lucky, our teacher did so much review with us, shout out!
Anyone else just starting to study now?
^Unfortunately :/.
I had 3 other AP tests to study for, so this became the “later” AP and now I’m screwed. Quite a sophomore year…
What time zone are you guys in?
East Coast
West Coast here, CALI REPRESENT, you guys taking multiple APS are crazy, I died taking 4 aps last year, only three this year.
Anyone got any quicklinks to lewis dot structures and polar/dipole dipole stuff? I never memorized all the rules about lewis dot structures and drawing em around central atom and what not.
Don’t worry guys. My friend last year literally knew 0 material for Euro, but he started studying at midnight and pulled an all-nighter and got a 5.
Remember “sleep is for the weak” and you’ll be fine
Lol, what is this? And I thought 2 freshmen year and 2 sophomore year was good. I’m done. XD
Did have the stupid SAT this weekend though.
@blargenshmargen Quite possible I suppose, considering the terribly low standards they set. Quite sad really.
East Coast over here. I’m just starting too, and I have AP psych tomorrow afternoon too… I was supposed to self study and I still haven’t. I’ll be pulling an all nighter for sure…
At least I have until next Monday to study for AP physics C (both mechanics and electricity and magnetism).
@blargenshmargen I took AP euro last year, didn’t know anything, studied the night before and morning of and got a 1. Your friend must have had a good teacher… All my teachers this year are so crappy.
7 APs as a junior… LET THE GRIND BEGIN!!#!@#!@
@Frigidcold omg I had two SAT subject tests this past Saturday! I almost didn’t want to show up but I did. Turns out it wasn’t so bad after all… I took chemistry and physics. But I’m gonna cancel my scores and redo physics and also take math 2
^Can you cancel your ap score and retake the test? lol
@JuicyMango He’s talking about the SAT II tests.
