It was B for the grid world one about the grid with critters. When they move they turn to the direction towards their place they’re going to move to.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the MC took way too long. On all of my practice tests i finished with like 20 min to spare, and on this one I working until the last few seconds.

I think I did well though, and I’m pretty sure I aced all the FRQs except for the first one.

@pretzel729‌ was that the one where the chameleon was in the bottom-left square?

@ssgupta Yeah, a ton of sleep def. helped me. Best of luck!

@jchen97 @fievproko RIGHT?!

I studied so hard based on the Barrons book (self-studied), and felt that the MC was incredibly different… Barrons showed the MC as more mixed. I spent 2x as long as I normally do on MC, and didn’t get to check my answers.

Yes compsciguy pretty sure

Am I the only one who was really surprised at how easy the Gridworld FRQ was?

@terrapin45‌ yeah super easy

@fievproko same here bro, i had numb head 2/3 of the time. Took too much time.

mc were super hard, I thought frqs were easy

Any guesses for scores/curves/etc?

Went in hoping for a 5, think I’ll be in the high 4/low 5/high 5 range, all depending on MC.

agree about too much code-tracing on multiple choice

also hahaha “BARCADABARA”

Does anyone know how much they take off if you mention a method in a nonstatic context if its static? And if you accidentally use new as a variable?

Other than those two small mistakes on the first FRQ, I think everything else was fine The MC took waaay too long though.

@riverseden What method did you refer to in a nonstatic context? Moreover, I don’t think they’re going to be extremely picky with trivial stuff (unless it was a really big mistake)… Graders are probably going really fast.

what did you guys get for the one how it was: what does this method do? reverse the array, reverse the first half of the array, nothing, etc etc ?

I wrote “// This is inefficient, but hey, who cares?” on my exam. :smiley:

Sparkl3, it was reverse first half

I’m pretty sure the curve will make it like 30/40 MC and 2/4 FRQ will be a 5 because that was wayyyyy harder than the study material despite people saying that the study material is usually significantly easier.

I think the curve will be a little bit more lenient than usual. I got so lightheaded towards the end of MC and freaked out that i was running out of time.

For MC, i think I’m like 30 / 40 and for FRQ I think I’m 27/36 worst case scenario, which is like a solid 4 according to APCS Calculator.

I always got 5s on the practice tests, but I’d always just smear it.
