@meaa7130 I relatively got the same score as you and I checked the scoring for a 5. Here’s what I got: even if you get a 4/9 on the DBQ, and both of the FRQ’s, you get a 5.

You should be fine @meaa7130.

For those wanting one more quick test - here is the 2008 one. Thanks to Esat936 for the link!

Are erasable pens allowed for Free Response questions?

yeah they should be, as long as the ink is dark @frtian

@craniumapush My teacher recently went to an AP conference. He was told it’s beneficial to underline our thesis and very key details.

i just went to a conference… im a teacher… they told us to tell our kids not to underline…

i would say just don’t underline. i’m sure the graders will be able to find your thesis if it is written in an organized fashion

@craniumapush Ok, so there are obviously conflicting directions. I can’t see the detriment in underlining key details. Would someone mind explaining that to me? I fail to see how underlining salient details would insult the reader. Even if the reader is insulted, are you suggesting the reader would lower the grade because something was underlined? If not, then there is no reason to not underline. However, there is an arguable reason TO underline.

hey im confused did the iroquois confederacy unite against the colonists, stay neutral, or unite against the british?

does anybody happen to know where i can find the 2013 multiple choice answer key?

@stripedpanda The confederacy itself was neutral; however, each member of the confederacy were allowed to choose a side. Only one did end up siding with the Colonists: the Oneida.

@123amber If you have access to the document, it should be somewhere near the bottom.

Just as input, if your thesis isn’t clear enough that it needs to be underlined…write a new thesis.

Does anyone have an actual reason to not underline the important things? Unless someone can give an actual reason I don’t think it should be discouraged here. It may help keep the essay coherent and aid the reader in quickly grading the essay.

As stated before if you have a well written thesis then you don’t need to bold/underline it for the reader to see.

@quadmaster What’s your point? I never said you needed to do anything.=Underlining key things may help keep the essay coherent and/or aid the reader in quickly grading the essay, thus it should not be discouraged. Yea no duh it’s not required…

GL on the test everyone!

Whew, well that was fun. Some of the multiple choice threw me off but I think it was okay overall. DBQ was meh, topic wasn’t my strong point, but I think I did enough for a decent score. LOVED the other frqs, I had just reviewed the material for question 4 the night before and was so ready!

I did 2 and 4 for the frq, what did everyone else do?

I’m pretty sure literally everyone did 2 and 4.

What were open door notes?
