What have you all done to prepare? Doing anything last minute? I'm pumped.

i did alot of practice tests about 10 or 12. i read a few books and read the newspaper everyday

So far 20 hours of private tutoring, six practice tests, studying on my own, vocab flashcards, and a few more practice tests this week and I should be set. I'm planning on not going to school thursday and friday because it's the end of the quarter and just before spring break meaning we'll be doing nothing and my time will be better spent here studying for the SAT.

All of this has really helped too, I got a 1600 overall on the PSAT, and have been scoring in the upper 1800's on my last three tests, if I only I can get my math score up to a 600....

Math is the easiest to max out on, just learn the concepts and you should be fine.

I have this whole weekend off and I'm gonna dedicate it to working on my weakness--Writing section (mul. choice). I bought a workbook for it and I'm going to the library to work on it.

I have just done some of Princeton Review and College Board (blue book). I took two practic tests and Improved on both (sadly the Max score was only a 1800). I hope that would change when I take the actual SATs. Good Luck Everyone.

i am trying to get up to a 2250, the highest Practice Test I took was a 2170, all the rest were like 2050...i need to improve the verbal and essay for writing. Any advice?

I took Princeton Review and have been doing some additional studying the past couple weeks from the blue collegeboard book. My last P.R. practice test was a 2060. I'm hoping to maintain that or do better on the actual test-- it seems that critical reading is my lowpoint (640).

i honestly have done nothing for this upcoming test...except maybe memorize 10 vocabs? i've given up!

Gah, I need to do some more writing practice tests. I was doing so diligently during February but somehow I just stopped. Too much stuff and now it's the big day. I hope it goes well.

Don't worry guys. You guys all seem very bright; so just take a chill pill and relax (also you shouldn't try to cram this week). Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

shaabash patel bhai.

I'm going to take off Friday and study Thursday and Friday morning

Paki ----Kya Style hai.......

Haha whad up man; we should stop before everyone gets confused and freaks out.

Rocket Revolution - almost done with the book and I need to do the practice test.
CB - Read the whole book and have done 7 practice tests.

I really studied for the PSAT so a lot of the skills I leanred then stuck with me. I'm just REALLY bugging out.

REally excited at this.

Scores from the Blue Book have been gradually improved from 2200 to low 2300's

haha paki and patel..... don't worry I didn't get confused either....
patel, i'm not sure if the word is 'style' or 'ishtyle' haha (might just be some uncles in my community)

but ANYWAYS

guys takin the SAT, don't cram in the last week. just do some slight review. get good amounts of sleep the entire week, not just the night before the test. you'll all do fine.

If you answer "Chuck Norris" on the SAT as every answer (dismissing the bubbles), you WILL get an 8000.

i have to get a 800 on math this time.....couldnt believe how unscrupulous i was on last time and made 4 stupid mistakes #_#
for reading....hopefully my new method of looking at questions first instead of reading the passage will bring me up to >750
and for writing.....sigh...

I've been preparing for the past month and a half, gone up from a 1780 (this year's PSAT...I'm a junior) to a 2050 (last practice test). I'm just hoping to break 2000 this time! So far, I've done about 6 or 7 practice tests from the PR book. I'll probably do 1 or 2 this week in the blue book before April 1. Good luck everyone!

I'm taking thursday and friday off to 1)catch up on some sleep and 2)do a last set of practice problems.. and maybe 3) memorize some vocabs from tpr's hit parade list.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
