For the CSS profile that was due like the 16th of november that I just realized I never did, I had my dad call the office of financial aid and they asked for my eagle id and so I gave them it and they said that it didn’t exist 0.0

Does anyone know if the acceptance/deferral/rejection letters all come in the same envelope?

Deferral/rejection apparently come in a small envelope, but the acceptance letter apparently comes in a big envelope

Where else are you guys applying?

I can confirm that acceptance letters come in a big envelope. You’ll definitely know.

Good luck everyone! If you have any questions, I’m a current sophomore and I’d be glad to help. :)

Does anyone if international students receive a letter as well? Or is the decision sent by email?

It’s almost here. We will find out in less than a week…i think. Could everyone post when they get their letters so the rest of us will get an idea when we will get ours. Thank you! Goodluck:)

Im on the East coast in NJ so the second I get it you will know, and I also applied to marist, bentley, villanova, fairfield, and fordham whom i heard from today and was accepted to Fordham

Hey Nhinhijones,
Did you ever find out about the late CSS profile? I’m just hearing about it now and was wondering how it worked out for you!
Thanks!

Has anyone been deferred yet?

Ryanmd211, the late CSS profile doesn’t matter since BC practices need blind admissions and doesn’t even look at financial aid when looking over an application. They put Nov 15th as a deadline so that we could hear our financial aid package roughly around the time we found out about admission. But if you decide to wait until after admission to fill out the CSS profile, it’s totally fine and you won’t be penalized whatsoever. (I didn’t so the profile so I called the financial aid office today and they told me all this).

I thought I saw somewhere that they were mailing deferrals this year. I could be wrong, though… either way, exciting stuff.

Glad to see that other people are as excited and anxious as I am Thank you to everyone who called the admissions office and found out that everything is going to be mailed next Monday. If I didn’t read that deferrals were being mailed, I would have been going crazy the past three days waiting to see if I received an email or not!

When admission letters are sent out, is this thread going to turn into the kind of thread where everyone posts their acceptance status and stats?

I think it should. Gives us a good idea of who we went up against and if the stats are higher than last year.

Thank you, Cornell18 that is good to hear. BC is my number one choice and I was really nervous that I had screwed something up haha.

I phoned BC’s admissions office and they said that all decisions will be mailed this year and will be sent on the same day. Not great for us on the west coast. She indicated that there will not be an email notification. I asked when they will be sent and she said “all decisions should be received by Christmas.”

I am super nervous. Does anyone know how well BC’s need based aid is? Like if your parents earn a good amount of money but still cant afford the tuition will they give you financial aid? Also, for the small amount of people who receive merit based aid…is this based on academics only or character too? Thank youu!

I am super nervous about receiving my admissions decision. I only have a 27 ACT, but I wrote a very personal essay that I really think will stand out and I am involved both in school and in my community. I have a 4.0 GPA, but have taken many AP and Dual-Enrollment courses. I AM SO NERVOUS, I live in Florida so my letter will take longer to get here too! :/

This is my number one school so a rejection would hurt really bad, a deferral I can live with. Hopefully we all get it I will know very soon because I live in northeast nj so prob by tuesday or wednesday. WHY CAN"T THEY POST ONLINE D:

That is exactly how I feel and yes posting online would be so much more convenient!!
