<p>I applied on the deadline. I don’t remember what day it was, but I know I applied literally at the very last moment. Probably around 11:30 PM. I’m a horrible procrastinator haha.</p>

<p>@yeoirishs i think you can ask your other school to extend their deadline. OR, you could ask bu you speed your application, but i think that means you’ll have to send in the most recent copy of your spring grades.</p>

Yeah I think late on March 31st is when I sent it in. Definitely waited until the last second. I’m also curious about how they sort through applications. Usually schools go through and pick the most impressive candidates and accept them earliest, but I don’t think BU did that in this case. I wouldn’t think I’d be high up on their list at all, as my GPA and SATs are pretty average.</p>
<p>Hm… my applicant link still hasn’t changed from “your application for admissions has been completed” to “your REVIEW for admissions has been completed”. I guess this is a sign that I won’t be hearing back any time soon. This is all making me so anxious!</p>

I definitely think that your recc from the dean has played a great part in impressing them! Wondering if you applied for financial aid? I heard that those who didn’t apply for aid will be likely to hear back sooner than those who did.</p>
<p>I’m going to be applying this winter to hopefully get accepted as a junior for Fall of 2013. I’m already extremely nervous.</p>
<p>Quick question: will my high school gpa affect my chances? I had a 2.83 in HS but I’m at a community college now and have about a 3.7 with decent ECs (will have more ECs by the time I apply).</p>
<p>I did actually apply for aid, but my dad forgot to send in some parts of the application, so it was incomplete. Maybe they thought I wasn’t going to apply for aid after all haha.</p>
<p>yes i think highschool grades plays a big role in admission. i just got rejected today without any email indicating that my decisions were out with a 3.77 GPA. is there anyway to appeal or are the decisions final?</p>

<p>@yeoirishs Sorry to hear that. I got rejected last year too with a 3.8 gpa because of a 2.3 high school gpa. But if you keep your grades up, i am sure you’ll get in next year. After all, thats what happened to me today.</p>
<p>@norcaltransfer77 I got accepted into Pepperdine but the fact that I got reject by BU really dampens on confidence on the other schools I applied to. :(</p>

I’m not sure how long it takes. I never checked mine until the day I got an email saying my decision was ready, but it all must have happened really fast because it only took them 3 weeks to get my materials and accept me.</p>
<p>I checked my applicant link around 9:30pm PT today and was greeted with Congratulations!</p>
<p>So happy.</p>
