Dr. Giraffenstein, did you say "yes" to question 17 about binding ED to the school as well?

Yes, I did.

i didnt....maybe the thing about brown being more harsh if you say no really is true...=/

my d was deferred Same as rejected if they didn't accept you now there is less chance than an RD. I have a box full of hanukkah gifts i would have given her tonight but cant- Brown stuff i took i can't return to the campus store - i would be happy if someone else could enjoy them (size s ladies shirts, a brown bear, stationery and other small items) let me know and I'll send them. To all who got in congrats. To those who didn't remember your parents will always be your biggest fans even if we can't vote on the admissions committee

Congrats, y'all!

I'm waiting with bated breath to hear from my friend who also applied ED...

WillyShakes, I was told by someone with AdComm experience at another BA/MD university that it is essential to commit at Brown and Northwestern. I was not anxious to give up a chance for HYP, but I believe that my undergrad Bio work at Brown will be as good or better at Brown. See you there at the end of the summer, Willy. Keep hope alive!

thanks Dr. Giraffenstein--I'm sort of upset for not committing, but whatever it's too late.
I hope I see you there next fall too, but the chances for that happening are looking really slim right now...
