I don’t think there’s a lot this year. There are only 4 people(out of 663 seniors) at my school applying ED to slo, so I hope it’s the same at other schools!!:D

Intended Major: Business Administration (Marketing Concentration)

Sat: Math: 590 Reading: 580 =1170 (Taking again in December if I get rolled to regular decision)
No ACT

CSUMentor GPA: 4.0
Total Weighted GPA: 3.93
Total Unweighted GPA: 3.79

Rigor: 3 honors, 1 AP

EC’s: 20 hours/week
Work: 4 hours/week

I am male and live in-state (Orange County)

I’m basically right on the number for last year’s average business major acceptance GPA (3.98). Unfortunately, I am below last year’s average SAT for my major (1310). Are my chances better since I applied early decision? If I am rolled to regular decision, what are my chances in that case? Thanks!

Because of the way Cal Poly makes admission decisions based on a mathematical ranking, your being at the reported average for GPA helps to put you well above the cutoff. So even when your scores are added in, I think your odds of acceptance are very high.

Good luck,

I think you have a good chance, just raise that SAT score and your in

@Calpolyplease How many classes total did you take sophomore and junior year? and out of those how many were honors/AP?

I was wondering if anyone could chance me?
I’m post #2 i think but in general:
Major - Architectural Engineering (65% projection)
CSU GPA: 3.96
CR + M SAT: 1280 (retook in November if rolled over)
Class Rigor: 11.5 AP (dropping out of one at the semester this year because we didn’t have a proper teacher for the first 12 weeks of school) and 7 Honors
Both parents went to college/ No vet
1-5 extra curricular w/ leadership/ no work

@greenteagirl1997 I honestly think your in, especially being ED!

@roxy401 I hope so! I’m just really nervous and the wait isn’t helping…hopefully I’ll see you there too! Just 13 more days… :-S (It could be even less than that I’m just counting until December 5th!)

Yeahhhhh! @greenteagirl1997 @roxy401 ARCE girls ftw
