<p>Hey everyone. I was just wanting to post an updated thread in regards to Cal Poly SLO admissions decisions for Fall 2013. I was waitlisted for environmental engineering and was wondering if anyone who was waitlisted has heard anything new. I know that Cal Poly will be posting final decisions for freshman by May 15th and for transfers by July 15th, but I just wanted to poke my head around and see if anyone has been accepted off of the wait list yet. It’d be awesome if those of you waitlisted could join this discussion, and if any of you have heard anything, please update me! Poly is my first choice!</p>

<p>My D received an email from Cal Poly yesterday asking for her to RE-confirm her decision to attend (she already SIR and sent her dorm deposit early April). Perhaps they want a final count since some students SIR to more than one school and Poly wants to start accepting kids off of the wait list? Just a guess on my part. Her classmate is Comp Engr that already sent in his SIR but he didn’t get this particular email so he is calling them tomorrow. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!</p>
<p>I just spoke with admissions regarding waitlist and they said they will notify everyone to let them know if they were accepted or not. She also said ‘IF’ they take any off waitlist it will be a very small amount this year. Didn’t sound very encouraging.</p>
<p>Waitlisted for Animal Science. Still waiting to hear back. 
Thought they’d at least be admitting a few waitlists by now, but I guess not. Oh well. Waited this long, I can wait a little more.</p>

<p>I had my daughter call admissions around 4:40 p.m…admissions reply…we are “not entirely” done with accepting freshman students off the waitlist. “We have until May 15th”…
The recording as you are waiting for them to pick up mentions… May 9th as the last day for students to check back in…strange!
Last year accepted freshman students heard on Thursday, May 10 so…must be having some problems.</p>

<p>I called them for you guys and they said they still havnt finished tallying up the people who enrolled and those who didn’t so they have not responded to anyone. This Wednsday the 15th you should all know. Good luck!</p>

<p>I was wait listed and rejected last year. I applied again this year and got accepted. If you really want to go to Cal Poly it doesn’t hurt to apply again.</p>
