[li] Why you think you were accepted/deferred//waitlisted/rejected: it really is starting to feel like a crapshoot. Why does anyone get accepted/deferred/waitlisted/rejected? Although I do think that I am a very good fit for the school, which probably helped me not get rejected. I wrote my leadership essay on Joseph Stiglitz, who is my idol. I was so proud of that essay. Oh well. At least waitlist is still a chance.[/li][/ul]General Comments: CMC is my third-choice school (after Columbia and Georgetown, which I’m probably not going to get into), so I was pretty bummed not to get accepted. I love that it is small, but still part of a consortium. It’s also completely perfect for what I want to go into (economic policy-making); most schools have economics policies that focus a lot on business rather than policy. I would have really loved to have gone to this school. I guess I still have a chance, but following a shocking waitlist from GW and a rejection from Duke, this has made my week kind of a downer. Oh well. Congrats to everyone who got in and consolations to everyone who didn’t. Good luck with your college search.</p>
