<p>I am posting this for all of the Art & Design kids in the future:</p>

<p>My son was just admitted at 4:05 PST. We live in California and he was one of 17 who applied EA to Michigan from his school.</p>

<p>His stats are:</p>

<p>GPA UW: 3.73
ACT 29 (superscore 30)
6 APs: Art History (5), US History (5), European History (4), taking English Lit, Gov, AP Studio Art now
He has many ECs including: Two Scholastic Gold Key awards, One Scholastic Silver Key, 4 Scholastic Honorable Mentions, Student Council officer, student council rep for 3 years, school ambassador, NHS, JSA officer for two years, President of Mock Trial.</p>

<p>He is a sculptor and attended Stamps BFA portfolio prep during the summer, which we highly recommend.</p>

<p>Can someone pls help me? I haven’t received an email yet and nothing on WA. But when I look at view credentials on WA it now shows 7th semester grades as required. It never showed that before. Can u pls look at ur WA and see if admitted students are getting that or deferred students? Thx</p>

<p>@JCKTTCWW i have not heard back yet either but i don’t have anything like that on my page. perhaps it tells that you’ve been deferred. but, if you dont have it it may well mean denied as well as rejected</p>

3.6 UW GPA
5.1 W GPA
SAT: 2150 (CR:730, M:710, W:710)
SAT II: USH 720
AP: Euro 5, USH 5, English Lang+Comp 4, Chem 4, taking 5 APs this year</p>

<p>I don’t get it but whatever, nothing I can do except wait for regular decision.</p>

<p>@ersnyc, I just got off chat with an admissions representative and I asked the same question. She was not clear and just said that they are going to try to send out as many as possible and to be patient because I will hear by the 24th.</p>

<p>@ersnyc, I totally agree with you! Since they’ve already started sending applications, you would think they would know a little bit more than the did the past couple days. Also, I really don’t think I can handle the stress anymore. This is going to be a long couple days, and I don’t think anything is going to distract me from this!</p>
