No decisions have been released at this time. We are diligently working to review all applications by our December 24th notification deadline. Please note that we review ALL applications holistically. We do not have any automatic cutoffs which ensures every application is read at least twice before any decision is made.

@UMAdmissions Can you give us an estimated number of applicants please?

I literally just asked the same thing and my representative person said that they don’t have the data “here in the Call Center”. So obviously they have the info. I was told to contact my U of M counselor assigned to my area.

When I asked the live help if decisions will be posted anytime this weekend, the representative responded, “No, they will not be.” Not sure if that’s accurate, it’s just what the representative told me.

this cant be happening

Sorry to change the topic, but I just noticed that the day they released the decisions last year was the day of the Newtown, CT shootings. Eerily enough, today there was a high shooting that happened the county over from mine here in CO. Weird how history repeats itself sometimes. Looks like it’s gonna be a terrible Friday the 13th after all. If everyone could keep the victims/community in their thoughts and prayers, then that would be awesome.

UofM Admissions just tweeted about decisions not being released yet. They are still working hard on completing them. Facebook page was also updated.

Well, there’s always next week! Good luck!

Well guys. Here’s to another agonizing week of waiting.

@carnold96

Thanks for that; sometimes it’s easy for us to get caught up in our own lives and worries and forget some of the real tragedies.

@godiva123 if definitely is, especially with college decisions. Almost everyone on this thread has pretty much devoted all their time and energy on anxiously awaiting the results when in reality, I bet none of us have really been focusing on the tragedies of the world. This whole day has definitely gotten me out of my selfish funk that I’ve been in this past week… btw, thanks for your reply :)

I do hope I’ll be seeing you at Michigan, sir. It would be a pleasure. :)

(to carnold96)

@dartgenero me? Haha I’m a girl, but I hope to be seeing you too as well! I really do hope everyone on this thread gets good news, it’s about due time :)

Whoops, my bad. But yes! Haha. I’ll see you all in a week!

Sucks that we have to wait a week or so more. But I’d rather wait a little longer than have people get deferred just because they want to meet our expectations of a deadline haha

We’re gonna get our decision ON the 24th. I walked to their office today and they told me their was problems and that I wouldn’t hear before the 24th, but on the 24th.

11 days, apparently. Ugh.

Could they really send out all decisions in one day?
If they set the 24th deadline they’d have to start earlier to reach everybody in time

My guess is next Friday the 20th through the 24th is when decisions will be coming out
