<p>I’ve read through this thread, but I finally decided to make an account to post.
I received this as part of an email from UMich:</p>
<p>“You will receive full consideration as an Early Action candidate; however, it is likely you will not receive a decision until sometime in January 2014 due to the volume of completed applications we have received.”</p>
<p>Not sure if you guys did too or not, but decisions are delayed this year.</p>

<p>@ivoryphoenix926 That’s really strange. When did you receive that email? Also, when did you submit your app? I haven’t gotten any updates from Umich ever since that email about EA qualification, which clearly stated that decisions will be released by December 24th.</p>

<p>Yes I am being completely honest. I’m new here, could someone tell me how to post a picture of my email? I received the email on the 11th of December. I submitted my app on the 1st of November.</p>
<p>If you have windows vista, 7, or 8 you can use the snipping tool to capture an image. Then save and upload.</p>

<p>So, can anyone confirm that? No offense, ivoryphoenix, but it’s very difficult to trust someone who’s never posted on the side before. Plus, doesn’t seem like anyone else here has gotten an email like that.</p>

<p>People who waited until the last minute are probably being reviewed last. Because there were an overwhelming number of early action apps this year(30,000), those who submitted their applications on the last day or maybe even on the 31st are being told their decisions won’t be available until January. It happened to my friend who submitted her application really close to the deadline. I submitted mine a few days before and I haven’t received the email</p>

<p>I bet as long as a couple people from your school submitted their apps early, then you are set. They like to compare all apps. from the same school. I would predict UofM is not popular at ivoryphoenix’s school. I submitted my app. Oct 31 and no e-mail here. I am out of state, but 20+ kids applied EA from my school.</p>
<p>I’d ask my friend to screenshot her email for you guys but she’s already upset about it and I don’t want to bring it up again. I promise it’s credible though</p>
